Hello, I'm sure this has been addressed but I want to go ahead and post. So it has happened 3-4 time. I put my truck in reverse and back up. When I put it in drive and pull away the display screen stays frozen on the reverse picture? I drove all the way home approximately 7 miles and it stayed frozen and also I could not shut off my radio or change the volume? I have an appointment with my dealership to get it looked at. Is this a problem with the Maverick? I did have the rear view camera calibrated about 1 year ago but it's doing it again. What has everyone else witnessed? Hopefully get it fixed. Thank you for your help

Hello, I am not sure? Is that something that the Dealership will notify me about? I did have the rear view camera calibrated about 1 year ago. I have an appointment Jan 13th so I will check on the recall. Thank you for your help

Have you tried the reset here?

To reset your Ford Maverick's entertainment screen (SYNC 4), perform a soft reboot by holding the Power button (center of volume knob) and Seek Right (>>) button on the steering wheel for about 10 seconds until it reboots; for a full data wipe, use the Settings > General > Reset > Factory Reset menu, but the soft reboot fixes most glitches without losing data.

All 2022 - 2024 XLs and XLTs were subject to the recall (Lariats were exempt I seem to recall). There Recall was due to the rear view camara freezing.

You should be able to find out by checking the Ford App.

Nope - my Lariat got the recall and it fixed the frozen camera issue and made the entire AV system snappier. Also brightened the display a bit. Well worth getting it done.

If you bought the truck new, Ford sends recall notices by mail to the address you gave at the time of sale. If you bought it used from a Ford dealership, they may also sign you up for this, but not always. You can also check on the Ford website, on the recall by VIN page (just type Ford recall by VIN into a search engine), simply input the VIN of your truck in and it will show you what recalls and customer satisfaction programs your vehicle is eligible for.

There was a later recall for some Lariats as well, it came out around the time the XL XLT fix was released. Not sure if it was for all of them though.

Thank you, I did buy it used but I have gotten information from the dealership about issues I needed to get checked. I will do a VIN search and just see what it says. Thank you for your input
