My Maverick has been hit in less than 3 months.

After waiting for months, I got my Velocity Blue XLT. Now after less than 3 months on the road I got hit by some fool. He tried to change lanes and hit my passenger side. There's over $5400 on damage but that's not all. The idiot saw me and took off!

Insurance will cover everything. The biggest problem is getting the parts.

I feel your pain! Waited seven months for my 1st week order to come in and had a lady back into me with a Uhaul. Took another two months to get in the shop and back to me. Sorry man.

I gave the police the description of the car and driver. It was a temp tag so it was too small to read. Nothing to do except file the report.

Man that is a kick in the ass. Sorry this has happened. My fear of someone doing something just like that that has convinced me to install forward and rear facing dash cams.

I hope I never have to depend on them, put if it happens I’ld have the SOB charged for hit and run.

Threads like this make me want to re-read the dash cam installation DIY's in the Tech forums. I passive cam for when I'm parked will be well worth the 250. My vehicle was parked the last two times it was hit.

Looks repairable. Check with a non dealership body shop to see if everything could be repaired. Could probably get all the trim color matched and aftermarket wheels for the price of replacement wheel and trim.

I'm sorry to see that happen. That's one of my worst fears because like many cities, there is no shortage of horrible drivers here. I once had someone hit and run from me. I was on the phone with 911 chasing them down. 911 told me to go back to the accident site. I said screw you I'm getting their tag number. They caught the driver miles down the road. I hope that some sort of Justice comes for you.

Hey there, same thing happened to me at the beginning of the month of March. I also thought parts were going to be unavailable, however they were. I had my Maverick repaired at the dealership I bought it at simply because I wanted original parts and new ones. I did not want someone "pop out" or be repaired. My drop off appointment was April 26th and it was ready or me to pick it up May 6th. This was with new doors shells (front and rear) and new rocker panel. These were ordered and shipped within a few days. I know the situation sux and I totally understand how upsetting it can be. Your truck will be looking good as new sooner than you think.
