MPG with 4K Tow Package?

I searched for MPG, Tow Package, etc but couldn't find anything on this issue:
Do Mavericks equipped with the 4K Tow Package like mine get fewer MPG's?

I know the 4K Tow Package includes a different gear ratio so that's why I ask.

I've owned mine now for almost a month and my city driving average is only 19 mpg. No major hills on the way to work and I've been driving like a senior citizen too ha ha.

I think our average over 10k miles is 30-31 MPG with our 4k tow EcoBoost.

That's very low.our 23 awd ecoboost with 4k tow gets lows 30,s combined mpg when I drive it, and high 20,s mpg when my wife drives it since she is a more aggressive driver.

I have a 2022 Ecoboost XLT AWD with towing package and get at least 28 mpg in combination driving. Pure hwyway, at least 33 mpg.

I have 3300 miles, over a year on my 2024 FX4 with towing package. Nearly all town driving. Low has been 18, usually 19 to 20 depending on how many butt heads I run into.

How long is your commute? I had a 4 mile city drive and was averaging 18-19mpg. No amount of conservative driving will help with short drives like that. Highway that would jump up to 28ish

My experience with my 2023 FX4/4K with 4100 miles is the same. Right around 20 MPG mainly city driving.

Suprising,I get that with my hemi ram 4x4. Our maverick is right around 30 mpg.

My 2023 FX4 4K is slightly better than the combined EPA rating of 24 MPG. I'm getting in the 25 range in mixed driving. EPA is 22 city/28 hwy. I can get into the low 30s on the highway but only if I stay below 70 MPH.

So much depends, I just swapped out my big heavy 265 tires for some continental cross contact 235/35-19” tires.
Just this morning I had to drive a stretch of highway 12 in La that is basically all bridge. Strictly enforced 60mph. I set my cruise at 60. Have about 1k lbs of computers in my bed and 4 people in the truck. Average was 41.7mpg over the 60miles or so.
I think if you are on the highway the non 4 k will do better but around town I’m not sure we lose much

60/40 Rural/City - First controlled tank hand calculated 30.6 mpg - 2024 XLT 4K currently just under 800 miles in.

I have been doing exclusively city driving to work so my mpg makes sense, I guess.
I need to do a road trip to see what kind of highway mpg I get.
