Stopped just fine. Between trailer brakes and not much weight in it. The biggest issue as stated by a previous posters was the wind. I didn’t have any issues with the wind, but I also would not wanna push my luck.

Ok so got about 1200 miles towing this past week. Went from Mich. to Baton Rouge. Then to Texas hill country.
Had just over 6k lbs in the trailer. This trailer is perfect for the maverick. Able to put the weight in the right spot with proper hitch weight and most still over axles of trailer. I have both heavy duty axles and shackle kit under this trailer. Had new brakes added and bearing. Trailer has well over 1 million mile on it as it’s the first one I bought for work.
Very impressed with the maverick. Was driving directly into about a 15-20 mph wind my first day. Was getting 11 mpg. When the wind was normal I was getting about 13-14mpg.
Was traveling between 65-75 mph. Seemed to like 65-68mph best when the wind picked up.

I was very happy to have had that electronic anti-sway control. Not sure if the Maverick has it, but I also have the 4k tow and hope it's part of the package.
