I hope my XL gets built before the price hike

I'm betting another $1,200 - $1,800 on top of the $500 increase already for MY24

If I don't get built for some reason amd I have to re-order. They BETTER have Eruption Green as a color for MY24!!

I guess the speculation of MY2023 being shorter than usual was correct considering that MY2022 production ran into November and December 2022. Shorter MY2023 also gives Ford the chance to bump up the base prices of the Mavericks yet again for MY2024. 🙄
2023 production started Nov. 23 after being pushed back from Nov. 14 finishing up 2022s. So about 11 months for 2023 unless they stretch out the mid-Oct date which Ford often does. Wonder if they will get hybrid suppliers geared up for more production in 2024? With the 3rd shift added and fewer rollovers from 2023 there shouldn't be as long of wait as the last 12 months. Assuming we don't have another world-wide crisis.

MY22 was originally slated to end mid October as well, but the amount of rollovers pushed it back.
Prior year Bronco Sports were also a mid October changeover.

They said that there will be no rollovers for YM23 to YM24.

I don't get how a company will take orders on a product that they know they cannot provide even if you order 13 months in advance, and then say you have to reorder that product 12 months later at a higher price if you still want it. However, no guarantee the exact same thing won't happen again.

One would think they would have limited orders on said product, and then open up the ordering again later in the model year if they can build more than originally thought.

Maybe instead of focusing on DEI training, their management should visit the Japanese or Korean automakers and see how they run an automobile company.

Given their throughput with an extra shift, that is roughly 55,000 more Mavericks. They have only scheduled 49,000 so far.
So if calculations are correct, they will build around 105,000 total for the year. Does that included the 22MY rollovers, and if so, how many rolled over? I do not think I have seen a number for the 22MY rollovers posted on forum. It would be interesting to know how many people are still waiting that were 22MY rollovers. It would also be interesting to see how many 23MY hybrids/vs EBS that were built.

They will build around 100,000 MY23. The rest of what you asked is unknowable other than the ~6,700 cancelled VINs.

I know they said there would be no price protection, but did they also say "no rollovers"? Seems silly and counter-productive, not to mention really bad for PR.

Oh - wait... That IS probably their intention, after all... That left foot is almost healed up, so it's time to shoot the other foot!

So, you're saying you do not want to be able to "special-order" a vehicle at all? Because most of the Japanese companies don't let you do that. You usually have to "order" one of their specific trim levels, and you can't add or delete anything from that "package"... Granted, their "packages" are generally more lavish than the Maverick's trim levels, but still...

If I knew they were adding Eruption Green for sure I'd walk away from my '23 order in a heartbeat. Price increase be damned.

How many were built in MY22? Was it about the same number, or has this year increased? Finally, I remember seeing a chart somewhere on how many MY23 Mavericks were ordered, but cannot find it. It would be interesting to look at how many orders vs how many will be built.
