I traded in my '18 fusion for a 26 Lariat HB. I'm generally enjoying the truck but miss a few things I took for granted on my Fusion.
1. Lack of a auto dimming and homelink connect mirror (covered in othe threads)
2. Remote functions like close/open windows .
3. Inability to turn off the huge display . This one is most annoying as I drive after dark often and dimming the calm display is still too much light. Any fixes here short of hanging cardboard over the display?

Welcome to the Forum 🤝
Does the panel below your infotainment screen look like the one @Chops posted #4 ?
If you could turn your screen off.
Would you also lose the AC and heat controls, along with any other illuminated controls at the bottom?

Yes they would, maybe in the next refresh Ford can use an OLED screen so anything black is off and doesn't produce light while still retaining mandated buttons.

My “buttons” are still displayed and function with the screen off (25 Lobo). I turn my screen off if I’m not using navigation.

Luckily you do not need to go to settings to turn off. It is the button to the left of hazards on my truck…

For #3, do you have the lighting setting set to dark or auto? If it's set to light, there's your problem.

A screen cover would work for #3. Would need to be trimmed & might look tacky?

I ride with my screen turned off most of the time.
It’s mostly a useless toy I do not need.
Very happy with my 2024 and it’s A/C controls.

on the Lariat, the button to the left of the hazard light is the 360 Camera display...not the calm screen button.

What i want is
1. Passenger mechanical/auto seat adjustment.
2. Memory settings for seats, etc.
3. Road noise reduction/better sound insulation
4. Better ride - better tires.
5. More reliable bluetooth connection to my iPhone.
6. More luxurious interior.

Your not going to find those options on a under 35K truck. That's why people buy Toyotas.

I'd happily pay more. Ford should offer upgrades for customers who want and are willing to pay for them. The form factor, handling, convenience, and utility are my reasons for trading in my F150. My new townhome has a small garage and the Maverick fits much better. Downsides are the cheap interior, road noise and some missing functions.

Does this (fix "for Remote functions like close/open windows") work on the 2025 and 2026 model years?
That's for sure, check the FORScan thread
