Your not going to find those options on a under 35K truck. That's why people buy Toyotas.
Don't buy a Toyota for better road noise, ride, or more luxury. More dependable, less recalls, longer lifespan and more boring are all good reasons to consider a Toyota though.

More dependable is debatable these days.

Depending on the model, that's true. My previous vehicle was a 2022 Camry AWD (purchased new), and through the 60k miles I had it, it got tires and normal maintenance. It had no breakdowns and zero recalls. My Maverick has had two recalls in the 4 months I've had it. The Camry is a unibody platform of similar size to a Maverick, so while not a truck it's still a fair comparison. A Tundra ... yeah, don't buy one of the latest generation.

Because the Maverick has no competition Ford will put the bare minimum in its trims. I bought a Lariat because that's the only way to get adaptive cruise control and Lane centering. Mine is a 24 so additional benefits were sync 3, better stereo, acoustic windshield, sound insulation between the fender and the A pillar, electric rear window, spray in bed liner. Yeah it came with blue and Brown vinyl interior but it's so ugly I covered it with mabett seat covers and replaced anything that was brown with black. I think the lariat trim is as watered down and featureless as they could get away with.

I traded in my '18 fusion for a 26 Lariat HB. I'm generally enjoying the truck but miss a few things I took for granted on my Fusion.
1. Lack of a auto dimming and homelink connect mirror (covered in othe threads)
2. Remote functions like close/open windows .
3. Inability to turn off the huge display . This one is most annoying as I drive after dark often and dimming the calm display is still too much light. Any fixes here short of hanging cardboard over the display?
On a 24 XLT Eco, can you open/close windows with the fob? Program it somehow without Forscan? 🤔

What i want is
so KR/Limited/Platinum trim.

We would have bought higher than Lariat had it been available.

Does this (fix "for Remote functions like close/open windows") work on the 2025 and 2026 model years?
When I get home I plan on founding out. Didn’t have time last weekend. If I can confirm I will post results and how to
