I’m glad the mods are on it but I didn’t reach out them. I only said to you that this isn’t the place. It isn’t.
I see a lot of these listing too here at my local ford stealerships. They said all were ordered and will show up on their site listing like that when someone special orders it from that stealership.

For some unknown reason it looks like every Ford dealer in Canada is putting the vehicle for sale on the lot, when it is actually special-ordered and not available to sell. I guess that makes it quicker to advertise if someone occasionally backs out of a deal, but its a pretty shady practice. It makes it look like there are Mavs available at a dealership, when they are not for sale. It ought to be illegal.
That's been like that since Maverick started. It was super annoying when I was in Arizona in '22 and searching for Mavericks. Constantly seeing them, then clicking on the Sticker and it always being a Green Special Order one.

I received my $500 deposit back from the dealership for a 2024 Ford Maverick XLT that I ordered on October 11, 2023, however, I cancelled the order when I was able to purchase a 2023 Lariat at MSRP on October 30, 2023. I just received an e-mail from Ford that the Maverick I had previously ordered but cancelled is scheduled to be built on February 19, 2024. Clearly, the dealership never cancelled the order. I have no regrets because I feel I got a better deal. The 2024 XLT is only $500 cheaper than my 2023 Lariat. that is loaded with all the bells and whistles. The 2023 Lariat was a special order that (I am assuming) the person cancelled.

I had lunch with some former colleagues up in Renton and swung by Bowen Scarff on the way back home this afternoon. I cruised the lots in front of the dealership (both retail and fleet lots) and saw zero Mavericks. There were three (or more) Mach-Es, two Lightinings and three Rangers, as well as a bunch of other vehicles but no Mavericks. If they have any of these, they are hiding behind the buildings.This is a dealer in Kent, Wa with almost 40 new and used Maverick in stock!! This is a reputable dealer and will not add markup on personal order. Dealer stock I’ve seen an ADM from them between 5k to 10k during the shortage.
And since I now have my Maverick from another dealer, I didn't stop to inquire, though I did drive by (in our Soul EV) the salesman I talked to when I first started looking for/at Mavericks in September of last year by stopping at Bowen Scarff a couple of weeks before the 2023 order bank opened. He was walking across the lot....

I did Ford Maverick searches on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist.
Price between $15000 and $25000 in the Denver area, 100 mile radius.
Nothing........still price gouging and way over MSRP for used Mavs with quite a bit of miles on them.
Same with a couple dealers in this area......new/used over MSRP quite a bit.

Same thing happened with Bronco's as well. When a special order shows up it automaticaly gets posted on dealers website. But my understanding it's Ford doing it not the dealer. A quick click on the window sticker will show green instead of blue.

I agree the Flip the Mav trend is over. I ordered multiple Mavs Please don't hate Me. The 2022 XL Hybrid 19K was sold to a dealer for way over that I thought Carvana was insane. Took that Cash order two 23 Mav Hybrids. Ford Dealers paid 11 K over what I paid. Now come the latest Mav only 2 K over Break even as far as I see it. I did wait over a year for the 23s two 23s to arrive. I am keeping the 24 Mav if it ever gets here. I am surprised the only buyers were Ford and Carvana. I did throw the 24 out on this site no Takers so I let the last 23 go. I made no more orders so my Que is empty. Wow I got off topic. But the shortage is drawing to a close. Project Now is can I pull this off with F150s
