Maverick Raptor sighted???

This morning I saw a red (Hot Pepper Red?) Maverick with large Raptor logos on the doors, small black logo on the top of the wind shield, and black lettering on the tailgate. It went by pretty fast so I didn't see many other details. Is this a real deal or just someone with some stickers and wishful thinking?

I'm pretty sure that was wishful enthusiast thinking, but you never know. On the off chance it WAS an official Ford product out testing it would probably NOT have had logos and stickers... they tend to be low key about stuff like that until they announce them.

Yeah, I don't think Albuquerque would be Ford's choice of places for testing though I guess it would be pretty obscure

FX4 and Tremor branding have both been bastardized with the Maverick. I don't think they'd do a Raptor lol.

They definitely do testing in AZ, NM, NV, etc.

Also could've been a Ranger Raptor. Looks more like a Maverick from the front than the current Ranger.

more than likely a wannabe A more likely scenario would be a Ranger Raptor Mule with no camouflage as those will be available sometime next year- but even then, I don't think the Raptor logo goes on the doors- just the rear bed sides and grill and tailgate.

99.9% chance it's just tacky aftermarket stickers. If Ford was testing a maverick raptor on public roads, it'd be camouflaged

No problem with yours haha. But fake raptor stickers on a truck that doesn't even have a raptor version is just plain tacky. Come to think of it, if there actually WAS a raptor version, fake stickers may be even worse
