I doubt a Maverick Raptor will happen. I think Ford would feel like it would dilute the Raptor brand.

On the other hand, I would LOVE for there to be basically a dirt road rally version. Take advantage of where the Macerick will have a comparative advantage in terms of CoG, add appropriate shocks, some underbody protection, and a higher speed, loose surfaces drive mode and turn it loose!

To be honest, the odds of a Maverick Raptor are as likely as an Escape Raptor or Mach-E Raptor happening. If an off-road trim is what you're looking for, then the possible TImberline/Tremor model is what you get.

Just give me a GRABBER trim level... complete with General Grabber tires... a stripped Timberline, if you will...

"appropriate shocks, some underbody protection, and a higher speed" = Timberline trim level
"loose surfaces drive mode" = GOAT Mode
Done! 😁

I mentioned a couple months ago I would like to see a "stand alone" trim level and the Grabber name would be perfect.
