Hello,
I have been a long time viewer on the forum. Was able to get my Maverick in June of this summer for MSRP at Red Rock Ford in Dickinson, ND. It is the XLT with the Lux and FX4 package. I was able to collaborate with GFC and they have built a camper for it that is now available for purchase!
I added 245/65/17 Toyo AT tires and some Fifteen52 rims. Have not driven the truck enough to see the change in fuel economy with tires/camper. But I was getting 25-30 MPG with the camper and stock rims/tires.
I love the way the Mav drives. The 2.0l Ecoboost and 8-speed is so smooth. I use the Mav as my daily and have absolutely no regrets on this set up. The camper allows me to store my gear securely in the bed, but still allow me to camp as I regularly commute to Glacier and the Tetons.
Feel free to ask me any questions. The GFC team has been great and has a precise walk around video of the build.
