Maverick Hybrid recovery points, what to do when stuck?

There is an older post that is closed, trying to revive the question. The pic below shows one of the 2 holes in the front (the old post had some discussion on their use but didn't answer the question). The Ford instructions tell you NOT to use chains, cables or straps "WITH METAL HOOK ENDS"!
Can anyone shed light on what is to be used, that is not metal, to tow a hybrid Maverick when stuck?

I'm shocked that nobody has definitively answered this question. I too worry about the same thing. I've had a great time with my '23 XLT Hybrid - but I'm always a little worried about what to do if I were to get stuck out on a trail.

Has anyone got a tenable solution?

No Idea, but from what I see when searching online, SOL if not equipped with the tow hooks from the factory like on FX-4

Yep that would probably be a valid solution if the truck is in a valid position to be winched from the rear, but still SOL if not equipped with a tow hitch. Hopefully there's some kind of solution, since the issue is bound to happen sooner or later.

Trust me, I'm not throwing in the towel on this issue, if anything, quite the opposite. I've just ordered a set of take-off FX4 tow hooks, intend to order the FX4 lower valence, and come hell or high water, will figure out a way to add a rear mounting point.

I don't need to, my order has the FX4 package.
I know I'm a stranger on a forum, but seriously research and learn about recoveries so you don't kill someone or someone doesn't kill you trying to help.

Here is just one example:

You can use something like that if slightly stuck but probably not down to the floor boards buried.
If you do get them invest in a 8-10ft bridle, a couple soft shackles and only do straight pulls or you could tweak the unibody.
IMHO the same goes for the FX4 and Tremor front hooks. I carry a 3/4"X10ft nylon bridle, 2 soft shackles and a 7/8"X20ft nylon kinetic tow rope.
Good enough for light/medium recovery with careful operators.

You need to get one of these shockingly inexpensive specially designed devices that goes into the specially designed hole.

HOOK ABOVE IS TOO LARGE OR HOLE BELOW IS TOO SMALL. I STILL LIKE THIS CONCEPT.

Fourth, use the "soft shackle" of your choice to attach soft tow strap of your choice.
