Yes! The double jet ski trailer was attached! That’s when he got stuck, trying to tow the skis out from the water on the sandGreat job! Did you haul out the Bronco with the trailer attached? Now that would be newsworthy! (Not that yours isn't)
Thank you!!I’ve put a few back on that beach before. Glad the truck came in handy.![]()

Now that's something I hadn't thought of doing. Of course, my immediate neighborhood is urban/suburban and I don't normally do off-road, but this is a great idea to help absorb a flying piece of metal. Perhaps a furniture blanket wrapped around the tow points and taped?Good video.
Good advice.
Surprised he didn't mention putting a blanket, heavier the better, on the tow rope/strap. I always felt two blankets are best. Put one on the tow vehicle end, put one on the towed vehicle end.
Literally acts as a drag chute / energy absorber in case of a fail.
But I've never needed to put it to the test. I only pull trailers.
From what I've seen videos of, you don't even have to tape it. Just hang it over the like like a taco shell, half on either side. Even a jacket will do tons of good. Now that's something I hadn't thought of doing. Some will keep a mat of some sort in their vehicle so they don't have to sit or lay on the ground, others in wintery states keep a blanket in the truck incase they get stranded. Use it on the tow rope/strap.
