According to Ford CRC (I called 800-392-3673) The critical AWD and 4K tow features were removed at plant and therefore a "Mis-deal"

They are about to submit the order and they sent something over for me to sign. But, there are some items on my previous order that are no longer available in the XLT package - they are either in the XLT Luxury or the Lariat. So, addition by subtraction = satisfying rectification? Are they building you a new one?
You should have been tracking order on ford site wayyyy back. Can’t trust anyone to do something for you these days other than you. Too many people don’t care if they screwed up and you aren’t paying attentionI saw and reviewed the window sticker, which was in the glove box. That is what gave it away to me, and I matched up the VIN they said was ordered to the sticker. The dealership agreed that it was not the truck I ordered when I showed them the original order.
Sucks you’re ordering all over, but now you can track it from the beginning. If they tell you your order is submitted and your not getting an email from ford within a day or so confirming, there’s something wrongThey are about to submit the order and they sent something over for me to sign. I got mine down in the bay at Walnut Creek Ford. Ordered it last year at MSRP also with no deposit. Picked it up last week.I feel your pain, it’s very disappointing for us customers to have to deal with these sneaky dealerships. Here in Northern California, I’ve noticed the small dealerships north of Sacramento still have a sense of honor.
I am sorry this happened to you. I can't imagine how disappointing this was after nearly 600 days. Let this be a warning to all to check your build sheet with your dealer multiple times with your dealer. I had them send me a copy multiple times in my 9 month wait to get scheduled. I also contacted ford chat multiple times and reviewed my window sticker as soon as it was available through Ford Tracking. I might have a little OCD but I literally checked tracking for the window sticker almost every day.Today-after 592 days of waiting- I thought was the day to pick up my Maverick Truck!
Everything looked right- color was as ordered, additionals as ordered, trailer hitch on truck. It almost all checked out.....almost. Upon inspection of the sticker, I noticed that there was no accounting for the 4K tow package. Upon further inspection, the sticker also states that the truck is FWD, and NOT the AWD that the 4K tow package requires.
I consistently told the dealer that the tow package/AWD was the key to this order. Welp, I guess I'm waiting longer, for I did not take the FWD off the lot.
The sad thing is they can sacrifice one pissed off customer and get at least $5K more on the lot than my order invoice stated. So, it's probably a good sacrifice to make in their eyes. This is the world we live in.
This entire Maverick ordering set up has been the biggest screw up I have ever seen. I don't think they could have gotten it any more WRONG if they had really tried hard to do so.Today-after 592 days of waiting- I thought was the day to pick up my Maverick Truck!

Congratulations! Enjoy the new ride.I got mine down in the bay at Walnut Creek Ford. Ordered it last year at MSRP also with no deposit. Picked it up last week.
Wow, so sorry to hear that! It might not ease your pain any but I HOPE this was an honest mistake! I've heard a few stories of questionable dealer antics since I joined this site.Today-after 592 days of waiting- I thought was the day to pick up my Maverick Truck!

I got my window sticker when the truck was scheduled for production. I guess you didn't know about the fact that you could hit up Ford chat to keep up with the ordering/production process. I didn't rely on the dealer for information as they were too lazy to do anything for me anyway. But again not much you could do even with early access to the window sticker.I saw and reviewed the window sticker, which was in the glove box.
