What color are the lug nuts underneath the XL wheels? Chrome?

These are not the two part lugs nuts that have swelling issues where the lug wrench no longer fits are they? I hate the cheap ones the OEM uses.Just got this from Gorilla for Maverick.

Hopefully you used an actual calibrated torque wrench. I've seen many shops run lug nuts on with their air-impact drivers. Maybe that has changed in recent years.A lot vehicles are specked at 80-85 but we never had a problem at 100.
If we more than snugged with an impact, about 1/4 trigger (very slow) and 2 or 3 pops.we would get a slight verbal beating. One guy was fired after 2 weeks and 4 warnings, he just didn't get it. We had the mechanical clicking torture wrenches, with an extra set in the tool room. The GM sent them off monthly for calibration check. I put a set on my brothers car and he curbed it a week later blowing the sidewall he swore they were torqued to at least 200. 100 foot pounds is more than most people think.Hopefully you used an actual calibrated torque wrench. I've destroyed a couple cross lug wrenches trying to do a tire change on the side of the road for myself or my friends (either twisted the shaft or snaped the weld in the center). I don't know what torque they were put on, but I had trouble breaking them using my full weight on the cross ends (about a foot from the center-line of the cross lug wrench) with my almost 300 pound fat ass. Damn near 300ft-lbs to break them loose is way too tight.

No, probably less shops do it now. I spent 3 years in the tire shop before starting in HVAC. I started HVAC in 2008, and we were one of the only shops in the aera still actually torquing lugnuts. This is what Gorilla sent me yesterday, for a Maverick.This seems like a very stupid design decision from Ford, and it's annoying to know that they have known about this flaw for years, but refused to correct it. It's something so easily fixed, in the scheme of things.
When I looked on the Gorilla lug nuts web site, it appeared that the correct parts were "14MM x 1.50, Acorn part # 71743"or "Acorn open end part # 70743", but I couldn't find those on Amazon.
I did find some similar ones, but nothing exact.
Which ones do I need?

Wheel torque is 148ft lbsYou better check that torque spec.its way to high.should be around 75-80 ft lbs
