Those wheels look so much better than those ugly turbo-fan wheels

I bought my LOBO (402A) because of the look and price. I like the painted bumpers, fog lights, fake leather seats and BAP wheels ( didn't like the "frying-pan" wheels). With employee pricing, the sticker was 35,173 < 40k out the door. It drives great, has responsive handling and is still a truck. I think it is the best value Maverick for all the unique things it has. I have gotten many compliments on how it looks.

They are nice. I just wish they were a little lower from the factory. And more color choices. I don't like those smooth wheels either. I would probably get it in blue , only because mine is white already. But it would be a tough decision. Lol. Nice truck you have.

the posts here and linked articles show it's 0.8". as in 8/10ths.

you alone have moved the decimal. ;)

as to why not lower it even further, just watch the autocross video: .

in my opinion it does not need to be lower to perform. it looks cooler lower as the OP showed in his photoshop, yes, but it also loses some utility. many owners will expect it to still be usable as a truck for towing and hauling, and don't want to scrape going into driveways and parking lots.
Mine has about a 4 inch drop , I still make it in driveways and speed bumps. No scraping.

Thanks. Hopefully the new MPC engine is a winner.

I would have kept the "frying-pan" wheels if they would have looked like what inspired them- the Ronal R10. It has lip and better proportions.

I don't like the standard wheels. LOBO should have rims like this.

I’ve been wanting to drop the rear of my fx4 to match the front anyway, I’m assuming the lobo rear suspension should bolt right up shouldn’t it since it’s slightly lower?
