All but 1 of the 7 cars i own are lowered. Most people i know lower their trucks unless its lifted for a specific purpose. Ive been lowering trucks since the late 80s.

With both lifting and lowering you are changing the CV joint angles. Does that invalidate your warranty on those half-shaft joints?

Obviously you don't know about the mini truck craze I grew up in, I'm still waiting on some guy to try to put a 6 inch lift on a mav.

To each his own. I personally see the opposite with trucks, not necessarily lifted, but not lowered.

I'll bet there is a good crowd of people who would find this very functional. People with accessibility issues or older crowd who wants ease of entry. At the same time they want to keep the versatility of a truck for hauling.

I could imagine another 20 years from now I'd what this mod would do for my back during yard waste runs.

I had my truck lifted yesterday with the Eibach Pro-Lift 2-inch kit. One of the owners of the shop where I had it installed also owns a Maverick, though his is lowered with the Eibach Pro Performance springs.

Here is a side by side photo I snapped in the parking lot of our two trucks. Pretty dramatic difference, as his is lowered 2 inches and mine is lifted 2 inches...

I’ve always had lowered vehicles. Mainly sports cars. Never owned a truck. I really like the lower look but want to raise it this time. My truck is getting here in the next couple of weeks. I really don’t know if I want to lower it or raise it.

I just got my XLT AWD three weeks ago and love it. I already put new Wheels, Tires and Lowering Springs on.

- Tires 235 x 50 x 20
- Springs , H&R super sport . Front 2.2” / Rear 3”
back to 1990 when mini trucks were popular. I had a 1990 Toyota mini truck lowered.
