Picked up my Maverick today after it being at the dealer for 5 days to have the passenger side CV replaced, I was looking at receipt for the repairs performed and noticed something interesting just after the word cause, It says recall, Is Ford not telling us something? Unfortunately it’s not an updated part just the same axle, I asked him if Tremor axles are interchangeable with Eco and he said he would check into it But that parts are orderd by Vin# so that would be a problem

That is odd. If it was warranty work you would've thought it would indicate that. Maybe "recall" is a service writer's catch all term?

Maybe they did have a known bad batch of axles but are just replacing them on as-needed basis.
