Don't even get me started I drive my 2010 mariner around in the winter after salted road just to avoid it, mine is always gleaming. I still drive it after rains clear the salt off the road. But black is already hard as hell to keep clean looking.
Your wife's Focus didn't have a 8 speed gearbox I had a focus st with a 6 speed manual and ya that vehicle didn't do that, she must of had a ST too because the regular focus had 190 hp engine not the 250 hp one
In Michigan we have a stupid no fault law, but all claims are covered even when a jackass without insurance hits you it's all good. But our insurance rates suck in most areas, especially Wayne county, can expect to pay 200-300 a month because of how many stolen cars there are there.
Id recommend not using start stop feature since you are driving a turbo engine and is said to mess up thing in your engine, just Google why not to use auto start stop.
Maybe next time get a certified check from your bank, i mean who the hell uses checks to pay something off, especially one the size of a vehicle that cost 40k on your word you have it in the bank. I've bought cars with certified checks multiple times with 0 problems.
