Well, a 2nd set of @LASFIT Taillights have failed. Not sure if they need all four taillights to be LED or not but the brake and blinker portions have failed a 2nd time.

Both times they have lasted about 6 months. Now I do have to say that Lasfit's customer service is excellent, just the product on taillights, not so much. I have also installed Lasfit back up lights and they seam to be working well.

Thanks for sharing. I won a set of free Lasfit tailights. Wasn't keen on replacing perfectly good lights, so exchanged for a discount on their portable air compressor. I gifted to my daughter. Hopefully the air compressor is better quality than the lights.

Like the incandescent bulbs they replace, they don't have to be replaced in sets. The Lasfits are poorly designed without proper heatsinking for longevity. Heat management is very important for the longevity of high-output LEDs. The reason your reverse lights are lasting longer is because they're not on long enough to generate the heat that kills them, but they will die eventually too.

🤓 🤔 I‘ve been using LASFIT since march of 2022. I’ve been having trouble all that time also. on March 10th 2024, I installed what was suppose to be the newest
(T3-4257R) and they’ve Been also starting to go bad, big time on me. I still get hyper flash when I first start to signal 2-3 clicks and then they go normal, sometime they don’t signal at all. It’s enough to drive me nuts. Every time I know they aren’t working I check my mirrors to see if there might be an officer of the law behind me
this post is to give others something to think about. I’m also hoping LASFIT, check these out .

Pretty much same thing happened to me, although the first set lasted just over a year. Of the 8 total LasFit bulbs installed (2 sets of 4 bulbs) only 2 bulbs are still working properly and I expect those to go out fairly soon. I'm really disappointed in this as I like the extra bright taillights that these LEDs provide.

To provide a counter point, I am still using the same set I bought for my 2022. This is the model of bulbs from BEFORE they upgraded them due to complaints. These have been moved between 3 Mavericks and are still working just fine. So while they might have a mixed track record, some percentage of their bulbs are rock solid. They don't ALL fail, and as we all know, most people only leave reviews or make posts when something goes wrong.

I only have the backups and front side markers and both have been working well for about a year and a half. As others have stated the backups are only on for a short period. However the front side markers have seen a fair amount of use and doing well.

Fact of the matter, chinese made. Hit or miss.

YMMV

That is great for you. I do have to say, I have LasFits all around and all are fine except for the rear running lights, as the OP indicated.

Mine too, and I ❤ love the way they work.

However, I have had several issues (n) with their taillights and one of my cargo lights have gone out.

 I don't believe they are any longer a sponsor here at MTC.

IMO lastfit led bulbs are junk. I ordered the cargo and backup bulbs before i got my MY22 truck, a 10 month wait back then. Installed them when i got truck, the lasted about 6 months, so out of warranty period by then. Said screw it, installed Diode Dynamics and been a happy camper ever since, still working perfectly. If you want quality, forget the name Lastfit imo.

I went through a few sets myself and ended up just putting the stock ones back in even though I really liked the look and brightness of the Lasfit ones.
