I completed my Lane Keeping retrofit with some differences.

For the turn signal stalk, I ordered LB5T-13335-BAW off of eBay. I actually received a LB5T-13335-DAW and I decided to give it a try without arguing with the seller. The stalk was about $35 shipped.

I followed the directions listed in the second post of this thread and had no issues. Be careful when re-assembling the bottom cover as there are hooks in the rear that need to be in place first before trying to close it up and snap the bottom to the top.

Note - INVERTER ISSUE and resolution (for me)!

I took special care when entering the FORScan updates as I have an inverter and others have said their inverter quit working after the changes.

I did perform a backup of each module before making changes. I highly recommend you do the same.

When I modified BCM 726-15-04 as instructed, I heard what sounded like a relay clicking and then my rear seat inverter operating indicator went out. I then restored the BCM configuration to original and the inverter operating indicator came back on.

If your inverter quit working during this process, I suggest you try restoring the values for BCM 726-15-04.

If you don't have your default values, my Ecoboost XLT Lux default value is: 0248
^^^ Use this value with caution if you don't have the Ecoboost XLT Lux

All lane keeping features appear to work fine on my Ecoboost XLT Lux while using the default values for BCM 726-14-04

On my way into work this morning, I realized Traffic Sign Recognition is no longer functional. Options still show up in the menu but no signs pop up on the screen.

I’ll tinker with it this evening.

EDIT: I now have both TSR and Lane Keep working simultaneously.

My Ecoboost XLT Lux AWD factory default IPMA 706-01-01 code: 044D-58A9-F556

In the TSR thread, I was instructed to modify 706-01-01 to: xxxx-xxD2-xxxxx
Reason: "This enables TSR in camera only mode and the sign mode being SLOIF"

In this Lane Keep thread, I was instructed to modify 706-01-01 to: 044D-59C9-B537
Reason: "This activates the functionality in the image processing module"

After the Lane Keep update, my TSR no longer worked. I went back into IPMA 706-01-01 and re-applied the xxxx-xxD2-xxxxx modification.

This resulted in a value of 044D-59D2-B540 and both TSR and Lane Keep appear to be functioning.

Another success, XLT Lux Tremor.

Based on some of the issues noted upthread with the inverter and TSR, instead of directly copying the hex codes listed here, I used this process:
  • Installed the new turn signal lever
  • Found another XLT Lux Tremor, but with Copilot 360, on Carmax, grabbed the VIN, and downloaded the asbuilt data from Ford.
  • Used the module address lines identified here to get the corresponding factory codes from the Carmax Tremor with Copilot 360
  • Went through the TSR thread to locate any addresses that conflict with the above, and updated the Carmax Tremor codes with just the new individual digits from the TSR hack.
Buttoned everything up, and it worked perfectly on the first try. Nice little hack for the $45 it cost to buy the new lever - as someone in the tech industry, I hate it when the only thing disabling useful features is software.

Are the AC Plug inverter issues only isolated to the EcoBoost?
726-15-04 is called for a write only on the Ecoboost but not hybrid.

Since cars today are basically mobile computers, I was about to code into my BMW all the cool features that US BMW's cant get but Europe has. Plus some other features.

Hello All ....
I ran into a small snag after "retro-Fitting" the TSR and Lane Keep mod ...
I'm getting a "trailer brake module fault" at startup ... I don't have trailer tow package on my truck so i'm thinking that during the programming a value got flipped to look for the trailer brake controller. Any ideas welcome

Another confirmed success!! Big thanks to @Maverick2022XL for the leg work to start the thread and big thanks to @snowkarver who provided me the as built data for a Tremor XLT w/lux CP360.

Some of the codes did differ from the ones provided by OP - so if you have a Tremor w.lux I would avise taking this route.

This was my first Forscan mod.

Next is TSR, then Sport Mode, and hopefully getting rid of the awful seatbelt notification

It's easy, don't be overwhelmed with the codes.

All you're doing is looking for the subcategory, finding the section it calls to edit then change the values. if you mess up, you can revert from a backup.

It was my first time ever using Forscan and it was a success just make sure the values match what's being changed in what section then you're golden.

here's a video that pretty much explains the functions of forscan

Anybody with a hybrid missing the Trip Summary after this mod? It usually pops up after every key off, let’s you know MPG, Duration and Total miles vs Electric miles.

Want to do this when I get my truck. I'm noticing in the original post it says this mod will work on a truck without Copilot, but it also says in several places without 4k towing.

Will this mod not work if the truck has 4k towing? I want to be sure before investing in a new turn signal stalk. Again, has anyone with 4k towing successfully done this? Thanks.

For driver alert changing BCM
726-15-04 to 0147 for 2L
Disabled both inverters the relay clicked and light went off.

changed back to default 0248 and they both work again. And so does lane keep and traffic

I still seem to have driver alert available in menu but haven’t checked if it pops up when driving not that I care about that.
