Anyone know if it's possible to adjust the time amount that the vehicle tells you to put your hands on the steering wheel? Seems like it only gives you like 20 seconds before it barks at you. It also seems like you have to give the wheel a good firm grab before it recognizes you touching it.

Why are you driving without your hand on the wheel?
Have you tried the lane keep and adaptive cruise control? The vehicle will steer/keep you centered in the lane, speed up & slow down for you.

Yes, I have it in multiple vehicles and use it. You still need to keep your hand on the wheel.

Don't rely on it working. . . . it relies on seeing the painted lines. . . . optically. As I got used to the ACC, I noticed it's faults because I was driving the truck 100% of the time. I did not give over control to it.
If the lines are worn, or it's raining/snowing, or glare from oncoming headlights blind the camera . . . . you, and everyone around you, are in danger. (if that matters.)
These are 'driving aids', they do not replace the driver. . . . .
Don't rely on technology to do your job as the 'driver'.

I figured as much, I would always have one hand on the steering wheel but the system would still tell me to put my hands back on. I would have to grab the wheel harder so it wouldn't nag me.

To try and answer your question not that I'm aware of. I would like to adjust the pressure but couldn't fine anything on it.

you could try disabling the driver alert system. You can disable this through the cluster. If you are not able to then do the following to disable it through forscan. I like leaving mine on though.

You probably just need some weight on the wheel.
