I got the Noco 50 from Ford Accessories with my points from my Maverick purchase. Picked it up at my local dealer down the road. Hopefully never need it, but it's under my rear seat should the time come.

Really need a 12v power drop under rear seat with a on/off/charge/jump switch setup on dash. or perhaps a relay that turns the Noco 50 on when you turn key to start when truck is in deep sleep.

I'm a little bothered by the fact that we're all researching jump packs for our brand new trucks. 😬
All good. I've never used a jump pack on my Mav, but I'm prepared if I need to.

Being the cheap f*** I am I went went with is one (under a different name but same model) I had to use it for the first time a few weeks ago to jump my son Escape and surprisingly after ridding around for a over a year in the back of my wife Santa Fe, it was still at 88% and the Escape fired right up. Not so sure how well the compressor works it's was just part of the deal. I paid $79 this one is $59.

Hi, I am hoping to get some recommendations for a jump pack. Rather hear from other forum members than rely on amazon reviews. Thanks
Probably some forum member recommendations in here...

I consider it more like safety equipment. And be able to help others. But I get what you mean esp with all the Maverick battery issues.

I used to keep jumper cables in my vehicles, but I switched to jump packs because it means I don't have to rely on a stranger for help. And they take up less room.

I have 2000 amp Avapow packs, from Amazon, that I have used to help strangers, friends, and coworkers. I haven't had to use it on the Maverick.

Same here with the cables. What got me to get one is this. My wife had a job where she would take mentally disabled people out for the afternoon to give the caregivers a break. We'll she got stuck and the parent had to come get the person. Then I put jump packs in all our cars. Thing is since then I never had to use it. Have no idea if the things even still work. Got to keep on top of the charge. I like this super capacitor idea. May try that.

Here is an 11 min. Video that explains the difference between a SuperCapacitor Jump Starter and a Regular Lithium Ion battery based jump starter.

NOPE on Scotty Kilmer.

2 years ago when I had my Buick Encore. I was traveling through Death Valley. I came across a couple with the hood up on their Chevy. They had stopped at an overlook. When they tried leave their Equinox wouldn't start. They already been there about an hour. Luckily it was winter the temperature was in the 80's. Not wanting them to sit there any longer. I fast charged my super capacitor jumper off of my Encore then transferred it to their car and started it.

OP: Just get a NOCO from walmart or amazon. The smallest one they sell works great. I've jumped several cars - the smallest was a Toyota corolla and the largest was a Lincoln TownCar V8.

Top off the charge on the jump box once a year.

I chose the Gooloo GT4000S jump pack ($100 @ Amazon). It's a bit more expensive that some others, but with up to 4000 Amps of cranking power, it's a LOT more powerful that many others. They also make a GP3000 ($60 that is functionally very similar, with 3000 Amps.

The GT4000S will start diesel engines (up to 10 liters) and up to a 12 liter gas engines, so there's almost nothing it won't crank... I've used it to start a diesel tractor and several cars and diesel trucks, and it just cranks them right over... It claims to have enough capacity to do jump starts up to 60 times without recharging. Not quite sure I actually believe that, but I can say that it will do a bunch of jump starts without having to be recharged!

I also use mine to emergency recharge phones, AirPods, and other portable electronics. It does fast USB-C charging (100W) for laptops as well as 100W re-charging of its own internal battery.

But my favorite feature is probably the "charge and forget" nature of these lithium jump packs... This one claims to hold near 100% charge for two years. I actually had to put a reminder on my calendar to recharge it once a year, and I've never seen it below 95% when I plugged it back in.
