Does the Maverick ( hybrid) have any jacking points other than the pinch welds? If not how are DIY types lifting all 4 corners on jack stands?

My very generic jack stands have a bit of a V shape. Not a perfect match but close enough for something I'll do less than once a year.

I just put them at the jacking points.
If you have good alignment rotating tires every 5k is ridiculous. I go 20k.

If you follow the Ford's manual = NO, there are no other safe jack points.

But you can jack the Maverick up where the subframe crossmember and to the lower control arm mounting points, then put your jack stands under the pinch welds.

This is the key info people need to jack the car with a floor jack. You can't simultaneously jack on a pinch weld AND put your jack stand on it. In my old Forester there were places on to raise it with the floor jack safely.

I was just about to open a new thread on the same subject, before I found this one.

So you're telling me everyone on YouTube is doing it wrong? :cwl: That shouldn't come as a surprise actually. I've looked around the pinch points. I am not familiar with the structural design, but to me it does seem that the "point" extends further down another 10" or so

With that said, I did lift the car, by placing the floor jack (fitted a slotted puck adapter) in very close proximity to the pinch point. Then placed the jack stand at the exact pinch point and lowered the vehicle onto it

Check out this thread. There are actual molded arrows in the rocker panel where the truck is supposed to be lifted from to avoid damage.

Correct, and that's kind of the point I am making. You cannot put a floor jack AND a stand at the same time at the exact spot where the arrow is. However, what I am noticing is that the welded triple-sheet material (whatever it's called, that makes up this "ridge" or a "lip") extends well beyond it

The big "Ford Pro" sign is what makes this hilarious. Either way, it just further re-affirms my personal observation that the reinforced welding spans over almost the entire length of the vehicle and the arrows mark balance points
