    Yes, one key question you may want to ask the collision shop is if there’s anything considered ā€œstructural damageā€ because that changes the entire picture. If you google the definition of structural damage, you’ll find that It includes a lot more than just a bent frame rail. :)

    I guess it may depend on whether or not there’s any structural damage to the frame which might actually classified as a total in which case you’d probably want the insurance company to get involved.

    . If it’s less than three years, I believe it’s covered under the three-year 36000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I had one replaced on my escape years ago that was just under the three-year mark and the warranty covered it.

    OK. Yeah, I was commenting on the RDU plugs which don’t have any type of rubber seals. They’re basically pipe threads so you just choose thread sealer or pipe thread tape. I can’t imagine you’d have to replace them every time, and if you did, I don’t even see them listed on rock auto. Heck they...
