Yes, one key question you may want to ask the collision shop is if there’s anything considered “structural damage” because that changes the entire picture. If you google the definition of structural damage, you’ll find that It includes a lot more than just a bent frame rail. :)

get the XLT if you want cruise control and possibly the Blindspot mirror.

I guess it may depend on whether or not there’s any structural damage to the frame which might actually classified as a total in which case you’d probably want the insurance company to get involved.

. If it’s less than three years, I believe it’s covered under the three-year 36000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I had one replaced on my escape years ago that was just under the three-year mark and the warranty covered it.

yikes - with frame rail damage the vehicle is ‘totaled’. If they give you any static, you may need to seek an attorney. :(

OK. Yeah, I was commenting on the RDU plugs which don’t have any type of rubber seals. They’re basically pipe threads so you just choose thread sealer or pipe thread tape. I can’t imagine you’d have to replace them every time, and if you did, I don’t even see them listed on rock auto. Heck they...
