Yes, one key question you may want to ask the collision shop is if thereās anything considered āstructural damageā because that changes the entire picture. If you google the definition of structural damage, youāll find that It includes a lot more than just a bent frame rail. :)
I guess it may depend on whether or not thereās any structural damage to the frame which might actually classified as a total in which case youād probably want the insurance company to get involved.
. If itās less than three years, I believe itās covered under the three-year 36000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I had one replaced on my escape years ago that was just under the three-year mark and the warranty covered it.
OK. Yeah, I was commenting on the RDU plugs which donāt have any type of rubber seals. Theyāre basically pipe threads so you just choose thread sealer or pipe thread tape. I canāt imagine youād have to replace them every time, and if you did, I donāt even see them listed on rock auto. Heck they...
