With a tariff in place, sales from Canada or Mexico to USA will go down. If I was Canada I would put a duty on everything sold to the US to make up some of that difference. The duty will make up for some of the loss of sales. This way all the increases are dumped on the Americans. It will take time to see what Ford does and how much the price of their cars goes up.

Canada already has plans for targeted retaliatory tariffs.

I agree. 100% Tesla should be targeted by all our trading partners. They are already loosing ground to BYD around the globe.
