Hello everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with the Lasfit LED bulbs. My issues specifically pertain to the brake lights. A couple of weeks ago both LED bulbs on the passenger side gave out. Thankfully they were under warranty so I reached out to Lasfit and they were able to send me a replacement at no cost to me.

Now I am having issues with the LED bulbs on the driver brake light. About 3 weeks apart from each other. These lights were purchased about a year ago so just reaching out and getting other people's experience having them as long as I have more/less.

There's been threads about LasFit not living up to its reputation. Enough so I moved on from dealing with them. I suspect, but have no hard facts to substantiate, that they are nothing more than rebranded cheap Chinese knockoffs.

I have LasFit all the way around my Maverick. Only issue has been with the brake lights. First set installed spring of 2022. On my second set on both sides. Always replaced under warranty.

Well, tbf... they don't need a rebrand. It's always been a cheap Chinese company. These companies have just grown in popularity due to their price and now people expect Diode Dynamic quality from them. One look at he bulbs and their open circuit boards with only a thin layer of silicon protecting from the elements and that's really all you need to know. It's the lowest of the IP ratings for a reason. But they do seem to at least honor the warranty and will replace them... so there's that... just keep replacing them lol.

I paid less than $40 total for all of mine thanks to this forum, so if they fail, it's not the end of the world. Got a set with switchbacks, didn't need the switchbacks so I sold those. I'll go buy some from the brick and mortar stores, a brand like Sylvania. I'd never pay the $230 for the set on that brand.

I installed LasFit all around on my XLT in May. One of the cargo lights failed soon thereafter but LasFit sent me a new pair, so now I have an extra. If I have any other failures, I'll probably switch brands but so far that's been the only issue.

Guess I'm lucky so far. Had the Lasfits on both a '22 XLT & my current '23 Lariat with no issues to date.

So if I want LEDs who should I buy them from? I had some on my Tundra and they began to flicker.

I put them in the CHMSL (cargo section)& reverse lights, so far no issues, but less than a year in service.

They are certainly value brand lights, and should be considered as short-life. It's a bonus if they fail during warranty, IMO.

Honestly any issue with LED lights before 5 years is too soon. I switched my 2013 F150 to all LED's when I got it, and all were working when I traded it. Not cheap lights though.

Never thought of the Lastfits as cheap lights. I'm sure there are much priceyer ones out there, however.

Their top end is not cheap, but doesn't guarantee quality. Quality bulbs are usually $55 a pair for tail light bulbs and up.

My passenger side LasFit stop lights fail intermittently. I believe I read somewhere here that it’s a known problem which theoretically is fixed with a SW update? Somehow related to the auto setting on the headlight?

Do you receive any kind of dash notification when a lamp is out?

They are just another Chinese importer selling cheaply made junk.
