Yes, I am taking mine in for repair Monday. Check engine light on, fuel door difficult to open, putting fuel in it will only accept about 1/2 gallon at a time.

I had the same problem. However, the light went off on its own, and I never noticed any problems.

If you've been topping up at the pump instead of just stopping at the first shutoff, then you're probably filling the return vent and the charcoal canister with fuel. That will eventually plug the return airflow, causing the slow fill issue. It will also eventually harden your filler pipe seal at the tank, causing it to leak at some point.

Possible. But probably not.

It would / should return to normal after a while if you just overfilled.

If not, it's just a defect / malfunction / stuck valve.

If it were the evap canister you'd get a different warning / stored code.
