OEM is pricey IMO

Is the 48" not too long? The DIY directions from Ford call for 30" hangers. I have the 36" kit from @Realtruck pulled up right now and I was thinking of a need to cut it down.I used the 48" Core Trax cut down to length. https://realtruck.com/p/core-trax-tie-down-track-system/

That looks great! I was gonna paint mine, but apparently galvanized is not so easy to paint. II bought 36” black strut channels from Grainger. 14 guage looks better than the 12 guage imo. The eye bolts can’t slide past the mounting bolt heads on the 14 guage so put in an extra eye bolt as well for full coverage.![]()
I DIY’ed mine with some union-strut and some eye bolts and I’m very satisfied. Cost me about $60.OEM is pricey IMO
BE CAREFUL if you order after market. I bought a set of rails for my XL when I found out that they were not standard equipment. My set was from Amazon, EXPRESSLY DESIGNED TO FIT THE MAVERICK. Well, the holes didn't match up. I ended up drilling and pop-riveting them into place. They work fine, but it was a PITA. I would recommend that you get exact measurements for the manuracturer on how far apart the holes are on his rail, then compare that to the holes in your walls. Good Luck. P.S. The adjustable pad eyes really come in handy for tightening up large objects like a kayak.OEM is pricey IMO
