RAW is right. So, if you just compare the Maverick to the Santa Cruz, the most obvious signal is that the Santa Cruz is grossly overpriced. It is probably a nice rig at $5-7,000 less. This Maverick is my first and last truck. I was looking for the Ranger, as I remembered its being the most...
I had to do some digging, but I found it. It is on Amazon.com. It is designed for Ford, Nappa leather. The best identifier is that its brand is SAWUAA. It was $29.99 2 years ago - good luck.
One consolation: it is so dark down there that nobody can see the plug, or its missing cover. I use mine periodically to plug in my GPS, and I STILL have trouble finding the damn thing! You would think that the plug and its cover would be one piece. Since they are not, surely ("don't call me...

I can reinforce Ozark's "meh" comment with my sad tale of woe re. silver vehicles. I had a beautiful 2004 Ford Thunderbird ("Retrobird"). It was silver. At a car show, I was parked between black and red Retrobirds. Looking down the row of about 10 retrobirds, my silver car wasn't...
I was going to say - right away - that you can't beat Weathertech. Then I read your word "cheap-ish," which Weathertech AIN'T. Good luck, there are a LOT of cheaper mats out there. P.S. I am on my 10th or 15th set of Weathertech mats. HAVE ANY OF YOU NOTICED HOW THINNER (READ "CHEAPER")...
Darnon is DEAD ON here. I love my struts, but the hood doesn't "pop up" like it did before the struts.
It is nice, filling the washer reservoir and knowing that the cheapie prop bar isn't going to drop the hood on my head.
Welcome to the forum, Paul. Apparently, the administrator didn't tell you about the "initial post fee." Please send your $100 check directly to me, made out to "Cash." Again, welcome. Your membership will be official as soon as your check clears.
Yep, I echo Snow801. I have been using K&N for 30 years, and never had a bit of trouble. They are an upstanding company, and will make good on your purchase. BTW, one of the first add=ons I went for on my Hybrid was the K&N filter, but they only make it for the 2.0 engine.
Again, you guys are ahead of the curve on this old man. Why do you want to blacken out Ford on your Ford truck? Do you want folks to think it's a Chebby?
I've stitched a lot of covers over the years. This time, I went with Amazon's $30 "slip on" leather cover. I love it - it is a great feel. And it feels better psychologically also, because I didn't have to STITCH it!
I go along with Als, and will add one thing. People seem to think that, if they change oil and their oil is clean, they should have let it go longer. Personally, I would rather it be clean than look like tar. Since I retired and my mileage is much less, my rule of thumb is to change oil...
You guys have ALL got me curious! I am an XL owner, so I am not in the know. WHY DO YOU ALL WANT TO REMOVE THE EMBLEM DECAL? I always thought that the American way was to SHOW any upgrade to the basic vehicle. Please clue me in.
Thanks, John. I don't know what Ford Pass is. Or Sync3 or WiFi or 32 GB flash drive. But, I am perfectly happy with my 2022 XL Hybrid. Sincerely, Dumb and Happy
Right! Just take off the shield. For 15 years, I took the 11-bolt shield off my Miata to change oil filter every year, regardless of mileage. This was metal screws into a cardboard shield, not a comfortable situation. Then, someone told me that I can come in from the top just by removing the...
