Is it too late to add Spray In Bedliner?

I heard bedliner was a constraint at the time of placing my order. I finally have a build date now in December, is it too late to add spray in bed liner? ..And if I do add it, will it cause delays?

You should be able to add it without an issue, as last report from a few days ago on here, it lists as no longer a constraint item.

This is what I plan to do as well if my truck ever arrives. Build date 08/01, Ship date 08/14, Arrival ???

I wouldn't change my order at all once I had a build date. A bedliner can be easily done by a third party company that is probably the same thing the dealer will use and cheaper.

I think the only thing you can change after a scheduled build date is the color. Thing about the factory spray in liner is some folks want the Ford logo that it has. It is a pretty good buy too.

Was told by my dealer that once you have a scheduled build date no further changes can be made. Take it for what it's worth. Ford scheduled your vehicle based on parts availability from your order so any changes would throw off that process.

SIBL at $495 from the factory is cheaper than what they charge around here, including my dealer.

In January 2023, they started throwing in the D-link system for free on 2023 orders, so that is when I added it to my order.

I think if your status is "scheduled " you can still change your order as long as your dealer is competent. Once the status is "in production" you cannot change anything. If it is too late to add SIBL, then you can get an excellent job from LineX. I am south of you in San Diego and I showed the LineX dealer that Ford charges $495 and he matched the price. I would remove fasteners and rubber plugs myself ahead of having the bed sprayed by LineX. I had one Rhino Lining [2006 Canyon] and 2 LineX in various trucks and I prefer the texture of the LineX. The "basic" LineX is fine, don't let them upsell with UV coating, colors, etc. unless you have extra $$ to burn.

I am south of you in San Diego and I showed the LineX dealer that Ford charges $495 and he matched the price.

I am in SD also. Which LineX dealer did you contact? The local one I called laughed when I asked if they would match the dealer price.

The information regarding order changes came from Ford customer service and our dealer. Once your order is scheduled Ford has committed the parts and time needed to fullfill your order. That puts a freeze on any changes. That is how and why you were scheduled. Any changes would throw off that process.
