I think I'm a bit of an outlier but here's my timeline:
08/01 - Build complete
08/14 - Shipped
09/01 - At the railyard in Memphis ready for its final 200 mile leg to Jackson MS the following day (Per Ford customer service)
09/08 - At the railyard in Arkansas preparing to depart to Memphis...
You say they won't fix it, but does that mean they are denying the claim, or just that they have deemed the vehicle totaled? If the latter, given the scale of damages, I would trust their judgement on this one, take their money and go find another truck. Don't worry about the other guy's...
That's my point. Ford is the one telling me that the truck is back in Nogales. I have been contacting them for the location updates and I would think they would have access to the carrier's shipping updates so they could tell if it had been offloaded or moved to another carrier to continue its...
A month ago my truck was sitting 200 miles away waiting to make the last leg of it's journey down here to me in Jackson, Ms. As of today, it's 1,400 miles away back at the border in Nogales where it first crossed into the states six weeks ago. It must be nice to have such a monopoly on shipping...
Personally, unless I'm on a road trip I've made enough times to have a good idea of how much fuel I'll be using I start looking for a gas station at around half a tank I'll. My wife tends to take advantage of this little quirk of mine and finds a reason for me to drive her car when she starts...
We agree on this point. Constructive criticism can be very helpful! If we use the example of your previous paragraph:
Replying to that post noting how their dashboard cover doesn't seem to fit very well in the corners and following up with tips on how they could improve their fit and finish...
I'm surprised to see such a post from someone who wrote " If you can't take such criticisms, don't post!"
Seriously tho, criticism can be hurtful. If a friend pulls out their phone and shows you a picture of their newborn child, do you tell how ugly it is or how you would have had one with...
This. It's OP's truck. He prefers real leather. Let the man enjoy his ride!
I just don't understand where all the heat is coming from unless someone out there is still carrying around fond memories of a pet cow they had growing up.
Just got off the phone with Ford customer care and it looks like my truck should arrive at the railyard here in town tomorrow afternoon. Given the holiday my dealership warns that they don't expect to receive it until late next week but even with these delays it looks like I should be able to...
Long shot but... Blow off valve? Haven't driven one of the EBs to know how loud it is in one but the sound of a turbo dumping boost always sounded like a chirp to me.
