My father in law gave my wife and I one 15 years ago. What did you dislike about Garmin?
I was in a parking lot when I was younger, a girl was next to me crying bc she didn’t know how to get home. Lol. She was hours away from her city, smart phones wasn’t really a thing yet.My maps are preloaded too.

When you open it you get the BIG PICTURE.What the heck is that paper thing?![]()
But how does it calculate arrival time or notify you about traffic jams or speed traps? When you open it you get the BIG PICTURE.
No batteries, power, apps, downloads, cell service or GPS required.
I'm not saying I don't use Google, Android or Waze. They are great and convenient, if you are sticking to the highways and have cell service or haven't run out of data. Not everyone has UNLIMITED DATA. I have 5GB a month. But how does it calculate arrival time or notify you about traffic jams or speed traps?
Oh, dear. It can't. Nor can it wipe you. Some things you just have to do for yourself. But how does it calculate arrival time or notify you about traffic jams or speed traps?
