Maybe I haven't yet found the magic menu to do so, but is there a way while connected to Android Auto in my '25 Mav Lairat to switch back and forth between Google Maps and the Ford navigation display on the fly? It seems as if once Android Auto connects that Google Maps is the only map that is displayed, and there's no way to still have Android Auto running (such as for music or phone connectivity) and use the built-in map navigation.

I also am frustrated that if I'm running Android Auto and Google Maps, that I haven't been able to find a way to display the audio playing info if it's off an external USB flash drive (i.e. mp3 files). I can do it if I'm showing the internal Ford navigation, but haven't found a way yet to do so if AA is running.

Yes i am the same with Apple. Soon as i get in the truck it connects and displays Google Maps. But i can switch to the Ford maps, i think i hit that Home button on the top left to get to the Ford maps. I will double check how i do it as i am still finding my way around the screen. I would assume that even if the Ford maps are displayed that Google Maps is still running in the back ground using data. Google Maps doesn’t use a lot of data but i guess it can add up if you don’t have much to begin with.
I do wish we had more buttons as opposed to relying on that touch screen!

Yes, I run Android Auto and I am able to switch between the Ford Navigation and Google Maps. I usually have the Google Maps take up 2/3 of the screen on the left and have the right 1/3 display my audio info, I usually run between streaming YouTube off my phone and Sirius XM on the right.

I can use the right 1/3 of the screen to swipe up and down to other screens including the Ford Navigation screen, if I pull it up on the right I can swipe it over to the left and have it take the majority of the screen.

Ford Nav should be on the right side. Swipe up to get to it. Then swipe it to the left, that will swap the big stuff on the left with the small stuff on the right.

My 4 items are Car Play, Nav, Audio, and something else I can’t remember. There should be 4 small rectangles to the far right, the filled in one tells you which of the 4 you are on.
