It has far exceeded my expectations of how many people have complimented me (my wife thinks i'm a celebrity when she's with me too). But the fuel economy, versatility combination, and affordability is just such a great combo has been my most favorite new vehicle purchase ever.

I like the versatility of Maverick. The get up and go surprised me! The seats are comfortable as well.
Getting in and out is great! Which is perfect for my height and age.
I'm no Ford fanboy by any means. The first vehicle I drove was a F100. My dad was a hardcore Ford guy.

I've owned more foreign engineered vehicles.
And preferred the small, smoother powerplants and transmissions from those manufactures.

Ford has come a long way in those areas. Not quit there, but darn close.

The one I need to call out though is the safety.

After 4 months and 6,500 miles, I got t-boned by somebody running a red. Probably hit me going about 30. They practically aimed for my B pillar.

My truck kept me and my wife perfectly safe, and held up really well.

Hybrid mpg was far and above the EPA window sticker estimates. Over 28k miles measured at the tank my average is 41.2 mpg combined. Happy with that.

I got mine scheduled but I still think it's insane that there's a small truck that gets at least 40 MPG. I've always wanted an S10 size truck but for the longest time the trend was to make the largest truck possible
