I haven't seen a dealer memo and it does look like a dealer write up.
1. I'm not seeing that message on an order with the Cleat Tie-Down Kit C, I'm not saying it's not true just that I haven't seen that message on my orders.
2. Totally correct, I'm going through my orders and adding their information again.
3. I'm getting clarification on COVP, they are correct that COVP gives you the price protection but I thought the deadline passed on submitting the COVP on the Maverick. I'm checking on that as well.

I asked my dealer about price protection for for my cancelled Maverick 22 order. The price increase on my model was $3600 if I don’t drop some options, so protection is really important
"Price protection" comes only in the form of your $2750 Private offer when going from cancelled 2022 to a 2023 order. Overall, the $2750 wouldn't cover the price hike for my Lariat Lux if I put back in all that they took off.

I'm in the same hole... The sunroof and Lux option price increases leaves me about $1500 short after the $2750 private offer. We did drop the SBL, so I can get a little closer to the original price. We are going to do a DIY clear bed liner on the flat surfaces. The Cyber Orange is just too pretty to cover up, and the contours of the bed really pop in the sunlight.

My dealer called yesterday and said they have the order switched and Ford accepted the 2022 to 2023 swap! So at least they are on the ball now :)

Stopped in and chatted with my dealer this morning. Made the adjustments I wanted (dropped adaptive cruise, bed rail tie-down, remote start, and spray in bed liner, added black appearance package), then changed it out of priority 99 to a retail order.

Took all of about 15 minutes and I have a new printout of my order.

Now the wait begins again.
That sucks I bet you reset your place in line too

I ordered the BAP also. Since we are priority 2 , I figure we will get what we want. Also I put CP 360 back on my order. I’ve already waited 13 plus months, been scheduled and cancelled. They friggin owe me!
I added BAP also. My thinking is that it just might bump me up in scheduling because Ford can make a good profit from the package. The rims are a little more costly than the 17" XLT, but the headlights, taillights, and interior can't cost much more than the XLT package.

You'd lose that bet. Cancelled orders all have an 11/14/22 order date and Ford has stated they will be placed at Priority 2. IF he had changed his trim level, he might have moved his date to 11/21/22...but still will be a Priority 2 when Ford resets it after 11/30/22. @fordvideoguy covered that trim level issue in his videos. Just keeping the same trim level and adding/subtracting things gives you no grief.

Not really.
I have one of the 22s that had a VIN and build date that got canceled and moved over as 23s. All the orders like mine are getting bumped to priority 2 sometime after the 30th. (We had that long to make any changes)

While we debate the MY22 vs MY23 when and if they will be built, can someone explain how Ford is producing MY23 Rangers and Ranger Raptors in their Kondor, South Africa plant...they don't seem to have a parts shortage there....Just sad.....

My dealer told me they don’t know what a covp is.
Customer Order Verification Program. It was required for the 2022 orders to make sure there was a real customer associated with an order (why they needed your DL copy).

This is older news. According to @fordvideoguy, dealers cannot do COVP now for the 2023 side of the cancelled orders. The original 2022 order required COVP to be done....but the new 2023 orders entered by Ford with Priority 99 have no ability to enter a COVP. The order numbers carry over from 2022.

@fordvideoguy corporate said my private offer has an expiration of Jan 2023. I'm assuming my canceled MY22, converted to MY23 is not going to be done by January. Are they going to extend those expiration dates? Or what do we have to do to apply it to a truck that hasn't been built by the time the offer expires?
Your transition private offer for your unscheduled/unbuilt 22MY won't expire. You will be able to use it on your 23 order.

What is priority 99? I thought priority 19 was the highest number, which is what I have on my retail order. I'm assuming retail orders have priority over these priority 99 orders?

What is priority 99? I thought priority 19 was the highest number, which is what I have on my retail order. I'm assuming retail orders have priority over these priority 99 orders?
Priority 99 on an order (put there by Ford) means that the order is NOT to be built or scheduled.

Ford did that to our now cancelled 2022 - new 2023 orders that THEY made on 11/14/22. That gives the dealer time to get with us to make sure the order is correct. THEN, when it is ready, the dealer can put the Priority between 10 and 19 and tell Ford it is ready to build by doing that.

They have until 11/30/22 to change the priority to 10-19. When Ford sees our cancelled/converted orders, FORD is supposed to drop the priority to "2", which essentially means "build as fast as you can, this is the front of the line, barring constraints.

Did Ford ever send a memo to dealers to fill out the blank customer info in WBDO? Putting it back on us to pursue unresponsive dealers to do stuff like this is getting pretty tedious.

Talked to my dealer this morning. Ford has more problems now than last year. My 1st day order is one of 100 they had that day. Very probable that since it is a hybrid, may not get it till 2024, if then.
