First pic is the normal position, I'm pointing at a tab you'll have to pull out on slightly to get the cable to come off. Second pic is the latch point for the "plywood position" partially up.
Edit: I should have read the rest of the replies before posting. I just got back to my truck, lol.
I was able to turn the automated feature off no problem, and honestly haven't had any reason to turn it back on. I rarely use my brights anyhow, so I just do it the old fashioned way.
Thanks for the write up though. Good info to have.
I ordered in 21 and recieved my 23 hybrid in February. Just figured I'd share a bit of my experiences.
My Maverick is a 23 hybrid, lariat luxury package without the added copilot package. It's Area 51 with the black appearance package. Aftermarket I added Smartliner floor mats, some tailgate...
After you finished how long did you wait before reinstalling your cubby and tiedowns?
I'm wondering how long I'll be disassembled before I can climb up in the bed and put stuff back.
Good morning folks.
I was already planning on getting a bedlier after my Mav arrived, having removed it from my order to help it get built.
Well, I've got my Maverick now, picked it up last Friday. Started pricing bedliners in my area... ouch. My wallet hurts just thinking about it.
Taking a...
Well, I did get the tonneau and letters on. Looks good, works well.
Picked up something in one of my tires tonight, so off to the tire shop tomorrow. Hopefully just a nail or something that can get plugged.
Not even a hundred miles on it yet. 😝
My dealer usually has a $1K doc fee. As others have mentioned I used Xplan and it was $100 instead.
Mustang Club of America was the best $35 I ever spent.
@Redneck Garage I am planning on using the Raptor liner on my Maverick as well.
Was wondering how you think it would hold up sprayed on steel wheels. (Not on my Mav, on the 10 year old Kia I'm giving my son instead of trading in)
I was thinking of just hitting the wheels with a wire wheel for...
Just got the call from my dealership. 16 months after the original order my Maverick just came off the transport truck.
A little prep work and I pick it up tomorrow.
Pretty excited to be honest.
Same here.
I usually have a parts list on my computer of the oil type, filter sizes, and other such. This reminds me that I haven't done one for the Maverick yet.
I'll have to fix that, lol.
Prep will be a fun time on that project for sure. Probably take me the better part of a day to get them ready.
Might end up doing it at two different times, but to honest I'm just trying not to have to clean the gun, lol.
I suppose I could buy a 4 bottle kit and a 6 bottle kit for $370...
I'm considering doing the bedliner as well, and doing two trucks at once. My Maverick (when it arrives) and my daughters 2015 F150 (5.5 ft bed)
Do you think 8 quarts would do the trick, or do you think i should grab 10?
Seems to make the best sense to do both at the same time to save on...
My dealership couldn't find mine and told me they would worry about it once it arrived.
I called ford marketing and they were able to find it by looking up the COVP on my original 2022 order. (Same situation, mine was scheduled and then canceled, now built and on its way)
They were able to...
Same here, though I'm coming up on 30 years now.
In my case I'm a service connected disabled vet out since 95. Not eligible.
Still rocking the X-plan that one can get thru DAV, so that works.
