They will probably just tell you to drive more !
The battery problem is an industry problem due to the computerization and the excessive use that are used in most vehicles. The Ford maverick apparently has more draw down than others but some blame I'm sure can be on the BMS algorithm. The 2.0 EB's also have problems but they have an agm battery that has 760CCA and around 50% more RCA capacity. Both are lead based and are subject to sulfation the deeper the drawdown is. The sulfation reduces the AH capacity of a fully charged battery. A deep cycle battery will resist sulfation more due to usually a stronger acid solution as well as lead of higher purity, but still happens, just slower. I had a 2012 Honda CRF that ate it's battery in 26-32 months due to delaying of charging the battery until the ice was warmed up or until battery soc dropped to a certain level. (The delay helped obtain better mpg but was detrimental to battery). I found that if I ran the running lights and the cabin fan on medium the alternator would output 14.4-14.6 at cold start. That and putting 12v on my noco genius 5 every 3-5 months I could get 60+ months out of battery (put new battery into it and gave car to granddaughter). On my maverick FE Lariat after I had my 23E09 recall done my power point voltage monitor shows that the 12v bus spends more time over 15 volts that it did before I don't know if the reprogram recall was the cause as I wrote on work order when I signed it "12v will loose as much as 0.2 volts overnight". So maybe the tech tweaked a setting???". Never had a deep sleep on this maverick and have never put my noco on it either.
Can't remember, but it's been six months since I deleted it the whole shooting thing off the phone.
Also make sure you turn off the Ford Pass communications found on the Mav head unit otherwise it may continue to look for your phone and expend power doing so.
I feel your pain. Thinking about mounting a dc outlet in the side fender badge. I guess a charge session once a week is the only solution I have found. I go have not had a deep sleep episode since replacing the battery even though the battery monitor I installed says the voltage is low. I drove 600 miles last week.
