I’m going to have to sell it after enabling Sport mode with FORScan!

I used forscan to turn on eco and sport modes on this afternoon. I won’t be able to afford the gas now that I’ve experienced what sport mode is like! I highly recommend adding these drive modes if you haven’t done so already!

Modes are only for EB? Are they the same as Hybrid 2023?

FX4 package drops Eco and Sport, and adds Mud/Ruts and Sand (I think I got those right). Those who have the FX4 package can add Eco/Sport with ForScan and those who want Mud/Ruts and Sand can do the same.

That's great. I'm just a little nervous doing it on my fx4. Have you heard of anyone having issues with it? It might be the next upgrade I do.

I just watched this on YT and I'm definitely going to add these 2 awesome modes. Looking forward to it.

It was a simple process and can easily be reversed.

Sport Mode is Tons of Fun. You'll be grinning from ear to ear.

Agreed, no problems with my FX4 after almost a year and at least 5k after I added eco and sport to it. It’s been to the dealer for normal maintenance as well and there were no red flags either to them with the Forscan changes I did.

Also -

Eco settles down the FX4’s throttle response which is nice. This truck’s throttle response jumpy stock in slow moving traffic, in town driving and sometimes in wet weather conditions too so eco is sometimes a nice change from that. Eco with the auto brake hold = bliss for big traffic jams from my experience too. Eco however lags off the line for fast moving roads and diminishes highway passing throttle response so those would be the only downsides.

Sport takes some getting used to in the FX4. When I first tried it, I thought either the engine or transmission was going to blow because it held gears for way too long in my opinion. Once you get used to the throttle response from it and learn to modulate your foot a bit, it’s a beast. It’ll take off with a fury from a stop light and is even fun on backroads because it keeps it in the powerband.

Definitely worth adding both of those modes in my opinion.

I'm only a humble hybrid owner here, but you can definitely feel the difference in Sport mode. I switch over to it everytime I'm about to get on the highway because it really lets you get up to speed quickly and reacts quicker for lane changes.
