Hybrid shudder recall

Why is this not covered by a recall or the like? My 22 XLT hybrid has 60k miles and now needs $1500 worth of repairs on axles while my 08 FJ with 250K hasn’t had an issue…Ford are you listening? Just a killer…truck still feels new but with the recalls and now this…

Can you get an estimate from a private mechanic/shop? It may save you some money. Aftermarket parts may be more robust than the OEM parts.

Good call but I was really hoping Ford may cover it, based on the number of posts regarding it on this forum alone it seems like a “recall” waiting to happen.

Just wanted to chime in and let you guys know my 2022 Ford Maverick XL Hybrid is also shuddering under acceleration. just started @ 60k miles. Wierd thing is there is no check engine cods at all? The truck is smooth at low speeds, but when you punch it, why does the whole truckl start to shudder?????? Anyone know if Ford is fixing this for us?

Sounds like it could be the CV axel issue.

I just saw your post (3.12.25). I think I had the same thing on my 22 hy xlt. It was the cv axles. Ford replaced mine. I think I was at 12k miles, 2 hour job, they got em. I think. Anyway good luck. So now Time Shift to the Future and what was it. Remember Vulcan High Council does not believe in Time Travel. But........

Today, my 2023 Mighty Mav joined the CV axel issue club at 18,400 miles.
It was time for an oil change and rear camera recall so I also noted the truck is shuddering under acceleration. Truck was ready next day
