Hybrid Shudder when accelerating between 50-60mph

Hi Max Club,

first time poster here…was hoping I wouldn’t have to report an issue in this forum…but I’ve been having an issue for the past month where my truck will start to shake/shudder ONLY when I am accelerating AND already traveling between 40-60mph

Here is what I am noticing:
- only occurs when accelerating. Never shakes when decelerating.
- violent shaking between 50-60mph, when I accelerate and the rpm arm goes off the “green energy” section and is between 0-50%.
- weird thing is shaking stops when I am traveling at <70mph and/or the rpm is between 50-100%
- start to shake when I reach 40mph
- started happening during these warmer summer months
- my Maverick has ~17,000 miles
- had the Maverick for >6 months
- oil life in Ford Pass app shows the truck has 23% oil life remaining

I am not that knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance so any suggestions or education would really be appreciated. Thanks Maverick fam!

For whatever reason they are failing prematurely on these trucks. Either a manufacturing defect or design defect.

I have the same issue. The dealer told me today I have defective axles. There is a national back order on them so they said they don’t have the parts to fix it.

I have this exact problem. The dealer tells me they have no idea what's wrong. I'll stop by tomorrow morning and ask about it
