Have you had any issues since removing truck from the APP?
I wasn't really having any issues before that. It was more of a preemptive measure I took since there are some suspicions that the constant communication between truck and app is draining the battery.

And I'm not sure if it solved the deep sleep mode notifications . Without the truck connected to the app, how would one know of any notifications? Would I still get notifications if logged into my ford account? If so, then I have 0 vehicle notifications.

2300 miles, built on April 3rd 2022 and so far no issues. I do have a jump box under the rear seat, just in case, and a slightly worn 06 Element if needed :)

When I put the Hybrid into gear the display went blank. Put back in park and display reappeared.... ended up being a corroded display cable. Had to remove whole display screen behind steering wheel to clean off corrosion, all fixed, no more issues.

My dealer checked and said there have been no recalls on Maverick. A recall only applies to delivered vehicles. The SPIBL issues were prior to delivery. Stuff happens, my Mini-cooper had 10 recalls in the first year. So far after 4k miles Maverick looks very reliable.
Yesterday, July 3rd, I was driving along and the main display went black, radio quit playing. Pushed the on/off radio knob and display did come back on. Today, after restarting the truck the A/C blower control knob was not lit and no blower speed but the A/C, Recirculate and Max A/C were lit. Turned the blower control knob and nothing, after a few seconds blower started working and lights showed the speed. Hybrid XL with just about 2,000 miles. Built Feb 23rd.

Similar, if not exactly my symptoms. As said above, the service tech said it was corrosion on the collector plugged into display unit. Been fixed for 3 days with no further issues. Diagnostics software found the problem and tech had to remove display behind steering wheel to fix. Huge Ford Dealership and this was their first Maverick to service...when I pulled in the service bay You'd think I'd driven in on a Space Ship...none of the service techs had worked on a Maverick yet.

Just turned 8000 miles today, 5 months to the day from taking possession and no electrical issues, dings or anything! A few scratches on the plastic tailgate trim from the guys loading the Rubbermaid shed box and a scratch on the front dash when I loaded a metal gutter through the rear window 😥. Note to self: cushion anything put on top of the plastic pieces.

I usually get anywhere from 48 to 65 mpg driving around town and my monthly 900 mile round trips with AC are running about 38.5-42.5 depending on the outside temp.

Was thinking what I like least about my Mav and decided it was the color since I didn’t order mine. I still have my original order that has been pushed to MY23 so now I’m going to go ahead and get the color I want and live happily ever after! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS TRUCK! ❤

Just over 3 months and about 3400 miles thus far and no known electrical issues so far (knock on Maverick plastic!)....

My Maverick had the deep sleep messages come up when I was using the Ford Pass App. I used it several times to lock the doors. One night I used it to lock the doors which it did the next day went out to start it it was dead. Checked the battery was down to 6 Volts DC. Had it jumped came right backup and went to the Ford dealer to have the battery check was OK. I stopped using the Ford app since then haven't had any problems with deep sleep messages and haven't used it to lock or unlock the doors. So I would say the communications between the Ford app and the modem in the truck caused a problem where something apparently hung up and ran the battery down not using it any more just to check the oil level, gas tank level, tires and any diagnostic info no more problems since then have around 1800 miles on it now.

I think Ford should put a separate accessories battery in it's vehicles..

I think Ford should put a separate accessories battery in it's vehicles..
I think they need a bigger battery in it 470CCA seems to small a 550 or 600CCA would be better but this a bigger battery which could have been mounted in another direction or location

Same for me, was told to drop the truck from the app after it was jumped and taken to the dealer. No issues since, although some forum members do not believe the app can drain the battery. All I know is I have not had any issues since.

Seeing several reports of Maverick Hybrids having electrical issues made me wonder how widespread the issue really is. I thought a poll asking if you are or are not experiencing electrical issues such as deep sleep mode, harness issue, Ford App 3rd party electrical drain issue, or just simply a dead maverick resulting from electrical problems may give a better idea of how prevalent the issues are.

For this to give meaningful data both hybrid owners who have no electrical system issues and those that do have electrical system issues would need to participate. Thank You!
First Edition Hybrid, 3,300 miles, 43 mpg average, no problems. Great truck for me JWE

Hybrid Dead in the garage the first Saturday, jumped and no issues since. Dealer found nothing but I think they fixed the cable and sent it on it's way. Over 4000 miles averaging close to 40 MPG, 50 MPG back and forth to work and 25MPG hauling my trailer and I'm impressed with the way it hauls it love the transmission shifting feeling.

FYI when your Max A/C is turned on, the fan speed won't illuminate or adjust. If you're wanting Max A/C, then you obviously don't want the fan speed at 2 😂 not an actual issue there. To adjust the fan speed, turn off the Max A/C and just use the normal A/C.

I may be premature in my vote so far at 1250miles so far, only electrical issue was the rear camera freeze.

I will be performing voltage drop measurements in the coming days.
