FYI when your Max A/C is turned on, the fan speed won't illuminate or adjust. If you're wanting Max A/C, then you obviously don't want the fan speed at 2 😂 not an actual issue there. To adjust the fan speed, turn off the Max A/C and just use the normal A/C.
There are several who have been misled to believe that the bolt was Ford's fix on later models. That those with the problem do not have this bolt, and that it's all that is required to fix the issue 🤦♂️
Again, there's some misunderstanding here. The "cable lug" that was installed here is not the bolt everyone is talking about. Every Maverick comes with that bolt and a factory cable lug for the positive terminal. The soldered connection that is failing is where the harness is connected to the...
Look, I'm not trying to be insulting... but you've got it all wrong. I wish everyone would stop putting so much emphasis on the "bolt" shown in these photos. That bolt is on every Maverick, everywhere. There is no "good cable with the bolt and bad cable with the solder." The bolt literally just...
Tim, any insight from any of your contacts at Ford about this ongoing and evolving issue? I've read 3 new instances of it on social media just today. @fordvideoguy
That's because it was. Literally no reason to replace the entire harness or cable for that matter. Remove the bolt shown in all of these photos. Pitch the junk lug terminal and buy a copper one for less than 10 bucks. Peel back shrink wrap and find someone who knows what they're doing to...

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.... but yes, really. Not saying an occasional one is bad, but most everyone's 12V is fine. The problem lies in the wiring harness that keeps your 12V charged.
My thoughts are.... I've got a baby in the car everyday. I'll take a band-aid until Ford comes out with a better fix. What type of clamp would one use, and where exactly would it be placed? I'm not literate in the mechanics of this stuff at all. I just know that the Maverick is the absolutely...
I've been accumulating info from multiple posts/threads in regards to this. My local dealer is puny, so if this ever happens to me, the odds of my dealer having already seen another instance of this are slim to none. So I wanted to have some documentation that could offer guidance.
From what...
