I did too, but once I knew what it was I realized that I have not visited BITOG in many years, probably for that very reason.not gonna lie. I had to google BITOG. lol
It's a fool's errand to try to predict. The round robin selection process in addition to varying dealership allocations make it entirely random. Throw in the supply constraints and you got yourself a cluster @%$!. I'm at peace with not getting mine until Spring, at the earliest. Others may not have the luxury of waiting that long though.So.... I decided to see if I could predict my build scheduling. Today I emailed my dealer rep:
1) How many Mavericks does your dealership have on order?
2) Does Ford count all of your locations as 1 dealer, or each location on its own?
3) How many Maverick build allocations did you get for September scheduling? Are they all booked?
I got the following answers:
1) I think we have 57 orders at this location
2) each location is considered a separate dealer
3) I think production is paused momentarily
So, quick to respond and trying to be helpful, even if he's not aware of the production stats. It's a pretty big dealership in a suburb of a very large city, so I'm hoping they have a decent allocation. I know my Hybrid Lux configuration is holding mine up, and I'm OK with that for now- but I'm not really any closer to guessing my build scheduling.
The point of being able to create a thread is to stay on point. It just so happens someone else ALREADY posted that table in its OWN THREAD. What purpose did it have in the Hybrid Support Group thread? Why is it necessary to keep posting the SAME stuff on every thread? If that was the case we would have ONE Thread with everything in it.It came up in conversation here, so I wanted to show a new development even though it was not hybrid specific.
In the moment I decided to check the EPA site, and it just so happened to be the first time I found Maverick EPA #'s, though it was only for the ecoboost. Showing available MPG numbers were relevant to answering the following question, posed on THIS forum:
Neither the hybrid Maverick, nor this thread exist in a vacuum.
I ordered my XLT Hybrid on June 16th. I got the order confirmation on email from Ford on June 17th but nothing since.Has anyone who has ordered a hybrid received a build confirmation? Hopefully most of you all aren’t in my situation and are banking on this car to replace a car I recently totaled. We’re in this together!
Thanks. I actually failed on visual inspection (missing dipstick and guide). Where it went, I have no clue.Try this stuff, always works for me. Also drive around for about a hour before your smog to get it nice and hot.

Was that email sent today? Just curious if Ford is now sending some scheduling emails on Friday instead of the always anticipated 10AM Thursday email.I ordered an XLT hybrid bare bones and just got my build date!!!!
I do think they misjudged the popularity of the hybrid. But I doubt a bait and switch. Ford's put alot into making the tranny's.Perfect thread title. I ordered 7/21 -- hybrid Lariat Lux with hard rollup tonneau
I am not in the situation of needing a relatively immediate replacement for my current vehicle. BUUT, my 2013 Insight has about 100k miles on it, and I've already had a warranty repaired major mechanical failure, about 30k miles ago. Also, I want some time to prepare for taking on a car payment, so I'm hoping my current ride holds-up, and I don't have to get the financing until at least mid-December.
Do you all think Ford misjudged how popular the hybrid version would be? Do you think it was a bait and switch maneuver to get people excited for the hybrid, only to pump extra cash out of their customers in funneling them towards the 2.0 turbo models?
What do y'all think are the reasons why Ford emphasized the hybrid only get put hard limits on hybrid production?
To put it another way...is the hybrid delay a bug, or a feature in the development life cycle?
this is the first time i hear negative impressions about this truck. I hope I wont feel the same when my truck arrives and I go to the dealership with my car full of pre purchased toys for the truck!Still not scheduled today. That pretty much cancels a 2021 delivery. Went to look at a Maverick at a trainer session today. Wow what a disappointment. The vehicle I sat in was a XLT lux package. It was not a hybrid. The interior is OK. I felt a little claustrophobic, there is room for me but no extra width. The seat fabric felt a little rough. probably hold up well.
It is a forum on motor oils and lubricants. I have been a member for about 15 years. Took a huge break for many years, came back and it was the same 50 people talking about the same things 15 years later. And you can't type the word "Damn" or the foul language sensor will get you. It's a fun and weird place.I couldn’t find what BITOG definition![]()
I agree it’s not a bait and switch. Since Ford dropped cars they need to sell lots of hybrid Mavericks to get their Corporate Average Fuel Economy ratings to a higher level to offset all the F-150s.I do think they misjudged the popularity of the hybrid. But I doubt a bait and switch. Ford's put alot into making the tranny's.
The future seems to be moving towards elect. They are on their way to dominating the elect truck market. F150 Lightning looks awesome. I Imagine a practical elect mav in the future. Not everyone is ready for that yet.
