Then I wish they would just make the SIBL a dealer installed option. They told me that they couldn't do that, that it had to be done at the factory. The service rep also said that they will not assign a VIN until 100% of the parts are on hand. I feel like I will never get this truck.
Exactly!! Ford could've done much better with this whole issue of SIBL and made a simple change that would have made a lot of customers happy! I can only hope that Ford does better going forward with future builds.

I bet you will get it earlier than 2-1. Have you looked into making yourself even crazier and tried to track its delivery?
My dealer specifically will NOT give me the railcar # lol, they said people were abusing the tracking system somehow.... I dunno... I didn't push it. I've tried to use United Road tracking but this is all I get.

Do you think Ford customer service would tell me the railcar #?

That is weird that they won't give you the railcar #. I would definitely give Ford a call. It's worth a try!

My understanding is that the dealership gets the rail information, not Ford Customer Service, however it certainly doesn't hurt to try them.

Ordered my XLT Velocity Blue on 7/16 to recently find out my dealer put the wrong order code in. Instead of using the retail code, they used dealer lot car code. Those are all getting pushed to the end of the line for builds. The dealer is trying to get that changed but that was 3 weeks ago and as of today ford is still trying to get the code changed. So who knows when ill get mine.

Surprise I’m sitting at the dealership waiting on Financing bro. Test drive success. Everything looks good. I’ll do a post later probably!

Another Thursday passed, still no build date. We're getting close to 7 months from order, think I'll give Ford my first call soon.

Finally got a confirmed build date with a vin #. It is scheduled for March 14th. I originally ordered on June 11th but when I heard that the trifold would hold up the process I had my dealership change the order and they moved my order back to July 1st or the date they made the change. So, I smile and register my Ford C-Max hybrid for another year (which I love)as I don’t want to drive around unlicensed for 3 more months until my Maverick gets here.

Heck, I just realized I guess I'll be kicked out of this little support group since I got my Hybrid a few days ago.

Finally got a build date as well, March 7th. Ordered hybrid XLT with spray-in and tow-hitch June 24th. We are very fortunate we don't have a dire need for a vehicle like many others who are waiting.

Also, got shipping info for the e-assist bikes (one for me, one for wife) we ordered in May; should be delivered to us within the next 2 weeks. I expect my new way overpowered full-suspension fat bike will be my primary mode of transportation moving forward.

Good things come to those who wait.

Can I stay if I keep providing 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪 and :coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:

Am I a sponsor now?
I'm hoping I'll be able to move to Emeritus level within the next few months, so I'll have to prepare to take on that new role.

I am at the point of taking a hard look at other options. Like everybody else with hybrids scheduled for Feb, my build date was moved to March 28.

I am leaning towards buying a Hyundai Santa Cruz Limited. Mavericks are so hard to come by, and SC's are consistently available on car lots.

I wish I'd have ordered an EcoBoost now. The facts are I'd rather pay more for a small truck I can have in my driveway, than a cheaper one I may not get for several months.

EDIT:
What really soured me is how Ford closed EcoBoost orders and THEN pushed back hybrid orders again.
