Maybe your dealer's entire monthly allocation was pulled earlier this month.I really don't understand Ford's process for pulling builds. I've read all of the various scenarios so no explanations needed from anyone, cuz I have a good understanding of all the factors that go into it, but I'm still baffled. Just saw an order almost identical to mine got a build date and ordered a full month AFTER me in the Chicago area. I'm Ohio, plain Jane XLT Hybrid Area 51 with only the 4 pin hitch added, order and confirmed June 30th (I know there are many of you who ordered even before me). My dealer puts everyone in at Priority 19 so it's handled in the order in which you reserved, which I appreciate. However, they are a large dealer that should have plenty of allocations each month and still nothing. Rant over
It's highly likely, and I've considered that, but the sales manager won't tell me. Says he's "contacting Ford" so he either thinks I'm dumb or ...Maybe your dealer's entire monthly allocation was pulled earlier this month.
The round Robin selection method they use is partly to blame. I'd rather they go by order date, though I understand it would not be an efficient use of transportation. The logistics would probably be a mess. It's highly likely, and I've considered that, but the sales manager won't tell me. Says he's "contacting Ford" so he either thinks I'm dumb or ...
I'm sure that's true. There are 5 large dealers in the Columbus area and it would make more sense to load up a delivery with as many for that area as possible at one time. The round Robin selection method they use is partly to blame. You would think California would get a healthy share since we have the most orders for the hybrid yet here i am left at the altar again. I'm hoping next month will see an uptick in scheduling in general, per @fordvideoguy.I'm sure that's true. Our third child is due in December and it would be kinda cool to have the same "birth" date as my truck haha. Has anyone who has ordered a hybrid received a build confirmation? Hopefully most of you all aren’t in my situation and are banking on this car to replace a car I recently totaled. We’re in this together!
Nope we’re all in the same boat, hoping epa mpg officially releases the flood of hybrids.
Just recieved production schedule email for Hybrid Lariat Cyber Orange ordered 2 September to day for week of 15 NovemberHas anyone who has ordered a hybrid received a build confirmation? Brace yourself. My spouse and I each ordered a Maverick, one hybrid FE in June and one hybrid Lariat lux in early July. Neither has been scheduled. We're so bummed out that nothing is happening with the Lariat.Today may be the day I ditch the First Edition package so I can also ditch the tonneau cover so that theoretically I could receive a scheduling email in the next three months. And YUP, that was a run-on sentence.
