It has happened to me ,my Maverick would not start. I tested the battery and it read 4 volts. I wondered why with 8000 miles on her and no problems at all with her .I notified the dealership that I purchased her from and they towed her in. They tested the battery and said it will be needing a new battery , but that they are back ordered by at least 2 weeks or more . I was upset about my breakdown but was extremely pleased with the way the dealership handled it .There were no loaners available so they gave me a new F150 that a manager was using . they do not know the cause of the problem until they get the new battery in and can perform further test . A huge shout out to Levittown ford service on Long Island especially to Hailey, Jahlik , and my service rep Elvis for working with me and making this issue as painless as possible . I hope the management from Ford motor company read this a give service reps a pat on the back for a great experiance , will keep you posted with the final outcome, till then enjoying my new F150. Backordered batteries should tell you something.... For a battery to go down to 4v presumably overnight means either random (big) parasitic draws or completely crap batteries.

Ford's got a hit with the maverick, let's hope they don't let it go to waste.

Good to hear that Levittown service seems to be good. Smithtown Ford is my local dealer but I've had problems with them in the past. Really hoping I don't have to use them. I bought my Mav from Riverhead Ford. Smithtown had stupid mark up. Riverhead was great to deal with. Let us know how everything works out.

I have mentioned the recall to my service rep Elvis he said he will look into it ,as I said earlier the service reps have been awesome will keep all of you in the loop about the problem and solutions

Did you run your vin to check for recalls on the Ford or nhtsa website ?

The harness is a customer satisfaction program, not a recall, and is for early production 2022 Hybrids, made before the middle of May 2022. If it's newer than that, it won't be applicable, you would have got a letter from Ford in late summer or early fall this year about the program.

A common problem with battery draw is a 300 amp fuse under the hood, so that is a possibility.

Did you happen to purchase the Ford extended warranty? If not, just wondered if providing a loaner is something all dealers do or just the good ones like yours.

No I did not purchase extended warranty the ford store towed it and gave me a loaner as part of there agreement .The tow truck operator tried to jump it but said he believes that there is a short so he did not want to mess with it and sent it to the dealer .I will keep the members in touch with the repair results
