Yes, follow me for the updates and feed back
Update for followers, Ford has returned my Maverick to the device image it was before a few weeks ago, lost a mileage bump using newer release candidate for the new models.
The control points of the internet has been compromised, administrators devices are being changed. That happen to me, to regain control I used Mavericks hardware to get around compromised devices. That is the background to the why.
It just got covered in a security publication so I can tell you more about it.
THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO IGNORE SECURITY UPDATES AVAILABLE. If you noticed internet issues, this is it.

It seems very highly unlikely that your battery issue is due to the factory battery after 3+ replacements. The chances of that are absolutely ridiculous. You have a charging problem most likely. Maybe the cracked 300A fuse issue or a bad cable or corroded distribution box connector or something. Get a better dealer if all they do is order another battery.
The truck goes in to the dealer in about 10 days for the newest most recent round of recall software updates and I'll double check with them on these other issues which I do believe they had checked in the past. I can recharge the battery very easily and quickly just by jumping and then running the vehicle for about 7 to 9 minutes. The other morning I started with the 12v showing 4.15volts (down from 12.5v the previous day), jumped using a Noco lithium battery booster, ran the truck for a few minutes, then drove one mile. The battery was back up to 12.47v and was at 11.74 the following morning, so it lost about 3/4 of a volt through drainage over an 18 hour period. I've yet to test it this morning.

When did you install the Optima? For how long have you been using it?

Since around last year September. I got fed up with the old battery not running my strobes for over 10 minutes after it was fully charged. I also would get deep sleep warnings after driving all day and parking for 15 minutes it would appear. Gone now! I also have a small 100 watt CIG solar panel on the roof that keeps it topped off when the truck is sitting there with the strobes running, it will charge the battery around 6 amps. That’s what the MPPT controller is for. I did do a small mod to get it to fit, small ears on the side were cut out with a grinder. Battery doesn’t move. It’s much easier to work with after pulling up the plastic trim around it. It’s cloudy today and getting 5 amps in the battery.CIG panels are super efficient .

I am the original Administrator of the www project. First time I have been attacked directly, I couldn't even trace the attack, started with my Roku tv took out both internet devices, even bricking this phone, for over a day. I reached out to AT&T ( They had supported the hosting of my physical Administrator hardware in the past ) using my Kindle, Ford with AT&T got my Maverick refreshed just incase with the most recent release. Using the new Maverick based equipment command center, was able to reach the internet to Administrator it again.

My stock 12v battery was going 65% day 55% overnight - 65% day (with driving) - 55% night (just sitting).

I pulled fuse under passenger footwell for telecom. Now battery stays 65% charged both day and night. Not great, but measurable difference.

If I get another sleep message, I will get someone with Forscan to change the charge level from 80 percent to 95 percent. If I still get a sleep message, F%$#! fuse 11. I will remove it and also remove the Ford App off my phone.

You changed out your battery in March 2023 and kept us up to date through August 2023. Thank you. Now that it has been about 14 months since you replaced your battery, I am wondering if you have experienced any issues. Has the new DieHard endured? I ask because I have a 2022 Hybrid, took delivery in April 2022 and am now on my third Ford battery and in need of a fourth. The three had lasted 4 1/2 mos., 9 mos., and the current one 6 mos.
Thanks

Not necessarily if they get 4-9 months out of each battery and never trickle charged them in between it sounds like they just use more 12v juice than gets charged back in. It shows that they likely don't drive for very long each day, charging comes down to drive time due to DC-to-DC charging. The Ford dealer has likely looked at the fuse and inspected other parts and is replacing the batteries because it is a known issue with the DC-to-DC charging rate.

Any way to test the output voltage of the high-voltage to low-voltage converter located under the hood, followed by verifying the same voltage is getting to the terminals of the battery? Doing this while in run mode.
Similar to this - but where are the contacts for our DCDC Conv?
You'll see it's not as simple as out should = in, due to other things being run.
Or does the Ford system use the same method?
