It pops up for me when I search in Value grade P/N T4-470VG

I could not find that battery on cite. Maybe because i put the ford maverick as the battery match. I can't find a way to remove my maverick from pep boys cite.

I a search for the battery on address battery from what you supplied. It took me to pep boys.
$50 bucks, for a year warranty. what a great price. but when i clicked on the button to put battery in cart. Symbol pops up saying can't do. So maybe pep boys had desired to sell it but bowed out.

I've had the deep sleep issue on and of for months and now happening almost every day. I drive to work almost every day (regardless of temps below 10 or over 30) and deep sleep comes on within minutes of turning off the truck.

I'm trying to charge overnight like some have said fix it but I'm fed up with Ford not having any information on this issue. A quick search clearly shows the issue across multiple models. I spoke with a Ford tech tonight and he has "never heard" of the issue. Where do we start filing complaints so that Ford is forced to deal with this issue?

They are for the systems that fast drain because of an obvious overdraw situation - your dealer is lying at this point, or you are 1 of few hybrid owners they have dealt with.

If you are getting that app message as soon as you turn off - you have 1 of 3 parameters already too low after it's been charging, and that ain't good, the truck knows it needs to turn the modem off that would allow remote app start, or it could drain the battery too fast.
And then you may not be able to manually start the next time.

This is a good indication of a bad battery that even the weak charging logic won't help.
Don't charge it, probably won't be enough to help anyway.

When you have time to drop it off - request they follow the instructions in an SSM (they can find it, call Ford if they can't - troublesome dealer needs to be turned in), which will take time to charge and then test the battery - betting you have a bad cell, so you'll get a new battery.
Hopefully the improved version to that one in pic.

Do NOT let them jump to the last part of the SSM that says wait for a software fix - demand the specified testing procedure takes place since you get the notice right after driving.
And you want to see the tester's printout. I say that because I don't trust your dealer already.

Thank you for the advice. I'm looking up all the deep sleep SSM and you are right that this technician had either never seen a hybrid maverick (doubtful) or they don't want to commit anything without having me leave my truck with them for days to say "nothing is wrong". I'm looking up all the SSMs to take with me when I make an appointment. I've found 4 different SSMs for faulty sleep mode (linked here: 50975 7/29/2022, 51449 3/15/2023, 51725 6/16/2023, 52307 2/29/2024). the most recent refer to TCU software update but the one from 2022 has actual battery test information.

I'll have a lot more information next time I try to have this conversation with a service tech. THANKS!

22 Maverick Hybrid 7,000 miles! Changed the battery from the factory ford to the Diehard T 4 --Removed the plastic housing that surrounds the battery installed new battery put plastic housing back did the relearn of the BCM total time 15 mins! Easy Easy easy! Works 100% no more Battery errors!

Hey - wondering what the status is now having come out of winter with new non-Motorcraft FLA battery?
I had a battery replacement and updated TCU at the dealership in February 2025 and everything seemed fine. Until today (11/10/25) when the error started up again.
