Don't spread FUD.

This is directly from the Maverick service manual

" The DCDC is protected by a 50 amp high voltage low current fuse located in the high-voltage BJB . The DCDC steps the high-voltage down to a low-voltage (between 13.0 and 15.5 volts, depending on vehicle needs), providing power to the vehicle low-voltage battery systems. Depending on the vehicle and environmental conditions, the DCDC is capable of outputting up to 265 amps to the 12-volt battery. "

12V power should not be a problem.
I think this tells us that anything we install onto the 12v system in the hybrid should not have an over voltage protection cutoff of LESS than 15.6 volts or it may not work when dcdc converter is putting out more than our installed devices allowable voltage.

Anyone moved or know of anyone relocating the 12v battery in the hybrid? I need all the space under each seat for custom fiberglass sub enclosures.
I think the only thing that makes since is to make a floor modification and lower it.

Is there room & enough ground clearance?

Battery placement is at the bottom of the list when designing cars. I think it was Chrysler mounted the battery in the front wheel well. You had to remove tire and arch lining to change it. We did free install EXCEPT for that one.
It did have covered connections in engine bay if jump was needed.

IMO, I would imagine Ford has untold numbers of lawyers that will conclude this that or the other had an affect on the issue said warranty claim. bla bla bla That's my guess and interpretation of their warranty, page 15....

The New Vehicle LimitedWarranty does not cover any damage
caused by:
• alterations or modifications of the vehicle, including the body,
chassis, electronics or their components, after the vehicle
leaves the control of Ford Motor Company
• tampering with the vehicle, tampering with the emissions
systems or with the other parts that affect these systems (for
example, but not limited to exhaust and intake systems)
• the installation or use of a non-Ford Motor Company part or
software (other than a certified emissions part or software) or
any part or software (Ford or non-Ford) designed for off-road
use only installed after the vehicle leaves the control of Ford
Motor Company, if the installed part fails or causes a Ford part
to fail. Examples include, but are not limited to lift kits,
oversized tires, roll bars, cellular phones, alarm systems,
automatic starting systems and performance-enhancing
powertrain components or software and performance “chips”.
Your vehicle may allow, enable or facilitate the use of certain
non-Ford Motor Company software. Ford is not responsible for
the functionality of such software. Ford may disallow,
discontinue or modify your ability to use such software at any
time without prior notification or incurring any warranty or
other obligation. Non-Ford Motor Company software may be
governed by End User License Agreement or warranty provided
by the software provider. For Ford Motor Company software
see End User License Agreement found in the Owner Manual.
The key words here are, "Warranty does not cover any damage
caused by:"

If your mod causes damage then that damage is not covered.

The mod itself does not "void the warranty"

If you pay a licensed Ford dealer/customizer it'll be covered. Met a gentleman who had Ford raise his new F250 5", extended for six door cab an added an electric gun locker.
All under Ford warranty

I think the 1.1kw HVB is under the floor primarily under rear floor and front passenger seat. Check to see if plastic under rear seat can be cut to allow 12v to be turned 90° and pushed far enough to rear to allow enough room for speakers. Also consider replacing 12v or in addition to it a Massimo 2kw lithium power cell/inverter partially in fender well and truck bed. This would require cutting bed cubby door larger. (Massimo power pack is $1500-1800 though). Would it be possible to fit multiple noco smaller batteries between your speakers? Just pondering....

You gotta keep in mind here, this is, first and foremost, a BUDGET compact truck, and as such most hybrid owners are going to really value the 8 year/100,000 mile warranty on the electrical and hybrid components.

Some will value it more because they bought this vehicle because of its affordability, and couldn't afford fixing faulty hybrid/battery components without the warranty. Others will value it more because they are unsure of how cheap Ford went with this vehicle and are worried about its reliability.

Regardless of the reason, you aren't going to find many owners, if any, in here that would be willing to void that warranty by moving the 12v battery.

Just like how this truck is proving to be a one of a kind in this market, I think you are going to have to live up to its name and be a maverick on this one and report back with your results.
You sound fun at parties.

The OP had a question, you add zero value - why not .... just not reply?

To be clear, I do not have a Mav yet but from what I have seen with wrecked ones, Ford has left some intriguing cubbies yet to be explored LOL. Like between the rear wheel hump and the cab.
